Has anyone else noticed the words underneath make no sense at all? Wear a dress was written "was weird rats" and other completely random things. It confused me

obesely it’s the mother’s ambition to push them into this world. Just recently in Australia there was a major protest when Sydney went to host its first American style beauty pageant which ended in the event being cancelled due to safety concerns ,those concerns were for the safety of the main star of the American toddler and tiaras television show.
I think that they are great because it gives them confadince and teaches them good staige presence. If they are crying and not wanting to do it then i think it is wrong and you should not force it. But if thats what they want to do then let them!
Well if this guy on this video knew anything about pageants. they normally stop for boys around 6 to 7. he wouldn't be bullied like a kid that's 16 would, if they had pageants for boys that age. if he likes it who cares, i know i knew what i liked an didn't when i was 6. they act like u don't have a brain till your 16, which is complete bull crap. let this kid be an enjoy what he loves doing.

well, you enter a 3 year old into soccer and it's not their choice either, now is it? parents obviously play a role in directing their children toward certain interests. if your six year old comes up and asks you to be in a pagent, Cenk, by telling him no, you're only reinfocing gender norms. while beauty pagents are controversial in nature, children are judged when they enter piano competition, or sports tournaments, so while judging on looks and 'talent" is controversial, others argue that....

You know what is funny about these pageants is that these parents who are full of pride for their children who win the pageants can't see how stupid they are. They spend up to $100,000 dollars or more on clothes, and fees for the pageants. Yet they only get a lousy $1,000 dollar prize, and a cheap looking trophy or metal. I guess it is the judges way of saying be a parent rather than using your kids to make yourself feel good.
I find it hard to believe any child would want to do this my daughter doesn't even like her hair done. Can't imagine kids going through that everyday, and enjoying it. I'm not Mrs Perfect Parent but this disgusts me. How come more people don't stand up, and put an end to these pedophile pageants?

I don't think kids are too young for beauty pageants , because its just like any other sport for little girls , like competitive cheerleading. We wear little half tops that show our whole stomach , and too small skirts , and ALOT of makeup. This isnt a problem , so why are pageants.
My son did pageants when he was little. But, he did not wear ANY makeup. And I promise he is all boy! He is now a standout on his high school football team and pretty much all of them know he did pageants at a young age.
I agree that at some point moms can go overboard but Zander looks like he enjoys what he's doing and I don't think that it should be taken away from him because some people are homophobic.

And his father treats him like a man. He is strict, but he and his son have a good relationship. I am his one of his few female friends, and I am probably the closest. He is treated like any other guy on and off the field by his father, his friends, his coaches, his teachers, etc. He is in no way treated "like a girl".

I think have a pretty good Idea of how he's treated, in school and out of school. And no, I'm not one of those clingy annoying friends, he asks me to come over after school. Being gay isn't a choice. If it was, all of the homosexual people who committed suicide or are thinking about it would make themselves straight.

I don't think kids are too young for beauty pageants , because its just like any other sport for little girls , like competitive cheerleading. We wear little half tops that show our whole stomach , and too small skirts , and ALOT of makeup. This isnt a problem , so why are pageants.

My son did pageants when he was little. But, he did not wear ANY makeup. And I promise he is all boy! He is now a standout on his high school football team and pretty much all of them know he did pageants at a young age.

My best friend is gay, and I accept and support him in that. The thing is, he grew up with only a father-no mother figure or sisters- from 7 months old. @KingDavid14218 There is no specific way guy or girls are to be treated. And you're talking about homosexuality like it's some deadly disease or something. It's not a bad thing. And his father treats him like a man. He is strict, but he and his son have a good relationship. I am his one of his few female friends, and I am probably the closest. He is treated like any other guy on and off the field by his father, his friends, his coaches, his teachers, etc. He is in no way treated "like a girl".

@KingDavid14218 I am at his house for at least an hour every day, and I'm with him for most of the day anyway because most of our classes are together. Plus, he tells me everything. I think have a pretty good Idea of how he's treated, in school and out of school. And no, I'm not one of those clingy annoying friends, he asks me to come over after school. Being gay isn't a choice. If it was, all of the homosexual people who committed suicide or are thinking about it would make themselves straight.
