@gwb911 - yeah i know the scissors does that but i meant: how is that any more accurate to trim the start/end of a region that simply dragging the front/end shorter while in sample resolution? - it still achieves the same result - a shorter region adjusted at sample resolution
Thanks a lot for these vids. I've always wanted to just play riffs as they come into my head and then get them locked to the tempo like you've shown without having to mess round working out what tempo they are before i start. You've just made my day!!!!

i have yet to see a vid on the net where ANY daw user trims an audio region using the scissor tool, the most accurate of all...

@dancetech "scissors" tool makes it so u zoom way in on the track and click where u want the region to cut.

weird. when i actually tried this after i clicked to make the change global nothing happened.
but then i switched to flex time and stretched it to the length of the locators and that seemed to work.
any idea what i might have done wrong?
