Does anyone know what tuning Hizaki is playing in, I have sort fo worked out the intro...but wrong tuning (I forgot the tuning I had my guitar in when I first learnt it).

that's not true, he is not playing in Eb, he is playing in E, the standard tuning

Aaaactually... He IS playing in Eb. They (HGP and Versailles) detune for all their songs in G#m, which seems to be a favorite for them. >_> If you get a high-res copy of the video, you can see that he starts on fret 9 for the opening D#. :D

i have a 24 fret washburn x50. a cheap guitar to use. someone like hizaki would be using a guitar worth about 6x as much as mine. not to mention its increased value since its being used by a celebrity/musician but thats not really figured in. theres many different types of guitars. too many to be described in one of these limited charactered boxes.

True ;/. Real ESP guitars worth...uhm just check official site. Prices are just crazy...(up to 900000 yen for artist signed models, normal ones are cheaper, but still...expensive). There is hope in LTD models... but they are produced(esp are hand made) in korea/indonesia in factories by machines. For expample person like me don't need pro guitar so the decision is clear ^^.

I think anyone with ears on this planet should be given the occasion to listen to this...Hizaki's just amazing, when he did this song live, I went into tears, and believe me, I'm not the type to cry for nothing :D :D

And by the way, it's one of the first solos I've learned. I can send the tabs to those who want ;)

He's the best guitarist ever, but remembering this isn't really hard at all once you've learnt it, it took me a week, but now i can play this too, not as well as Hizaki ofc, but still.

Please don't say he's the best, there's no best guitarist at all, or check at least Jazz Guitarists (like Django Reindhart). What he does is great, but it's not perfect, I find it too "X-Japaned" if you see what I mean...

We all have different opinions on whom it may be though, maybe you like so many you can't choose one, but for me it is, and will probably always be hizaki. Even though there are other bands I like more. And NOTHING is perfect tbh, and no I dont see what you mean with that.

For all of you uncertain of Hizaki's gender, I've seen him live, hugged him, heard him speak...etc, He's a dude, I knew it before the concert, and I still know it, anyhow, He's the best guitarrist there ever was ^^, and I love his/Versailles songs.
