for those folks saying the police have to tell him why he is under arrest, well in my state they don't. Most do, but not until after they have him in cuffs and searched. The time in which the police have to inform of the charges brought against someone is when the bring the person before the magistrate and tell the magistrate what their probable cause is, then the magistrate decides if the arrest will stand and book them or let them go.
