Yes I understand what you are saying. Here in the USA we are not use to that kind of life. We also have a place to fall back to if we need to leave. Some things you just can not prepare for
I had something similar back in Europe before war started... but had to leave everything and run for a life. I'm not trying to say your stockpile of food is useless instead I'm giving you my experience.
I think we have the same freezer. Lots of soda lol. I just stocked up on a months supply of food. On the first of each month I get one months worth of food and stay a month ahead usually.
I think you need more SODA !!!!!
