Now that you have owned this lens for a while, are you still happy with it? Or have you replaced it with another model?

@TomZentra I am still using this lens. I am happy with it. But due to the F3.5, I may need to get another lens for low light.

i see. I'm debating on getting this lens.. I see you have the A55, have you had any problem with overheating?

@Victorkapz I have the over heating issue. Just off steady shot and it will last for a longer time. The new A77 seems to not have this problem.

A77 is too much money for a newb like me lol! I just bought the A33, pretty much same as A55 without GPS. I would have bought A35, but it has no articulating screen. I might have considered the A65 but it's not out yet

@Victorkapz Yeah A65 is cheaper.

@blackdindang The a65 is cheaper comparing to the a77 but the problem you will find with a77 and a65 that 24.6 mp is too heavy in images. You will find that many pros use 18mp dslr's or 16mp. I have a 10mp at and looking into buying a sony 16 mp but not the a55 because I have seen reviews that there are constant overheating issues. And I'm looking into buying a lens to forfill my dead space between 55mm and 75mm and Thank you for the review on this lens :).
