@guitaramp68 rebuilt it in a week. about 10-12 flights on it since. it was all front end damage to just the foam. glue the pieces back and still flies awesome. more videos to come soon.
Don't count her dead! not at all a total loss. PositivelyJoe (pilot and owner) here. The pain is not the crash, the crash is cool. the pain is the work to bring her back to life. I have her mostly put back together in very little time. all the surfaces and electronics were fine. it's just rebuilding the nose to mid section foam.
I'm planning to either use a Castle creations ext. 10amp BEC or a rx pack.
This was totally stock using the two esc's with their built-in BECs, no separate BEC).
@PositivelyJoe Mine did exactly the same thing mid flight, my ESC failed and it just went down, check out my vid. Luckily it landed flush-- wings popped off and tail but no major damage, she's back in the-- just flew her on the beach at low tide...Hope you get her back in the air!
