  • Could you imagine being in one of her classes?! I'd have to snort a line a cocaine to write notes as fast as she talks!

  • WOOT!

  • Paglia has always been way ahead of everyone. Rock on, Camille.

  • i lol @ all the paglia haters in the comments . pathetic western liberal trash all of them

  • It must be funny when she finally looks back on her life and realises all she has ever done is speak absolute bullshit.

  • @FrazzleAndTheWolf Ya alot of feminists are going to spend their last 40 years dying all alone with no children or husbands to take care of them.

I guess that's just nature not allowing selfish, greedy genes into the gene pool.

and these "trail blazer women" like in the video is starting to realize that. Feminism in decline. Society is finally to starting to see the after-effects of this "feel good" experiment

  • Viva la Paglia! ...as great an admirer as I am of her (I read "Sexual Personae" at 16, and what "The Second Sex" was to Paglia at the same age, "Sexual Personae" was to me– an intellectual revelation), I feel here– as in many other instances– she might be OVER-estimating her influence...

  • She is a Gay Aries, what do you expect?

  • @MKUltra3 You clearly don't like Madonna and therefore try to diminish her in very simplistic ways. Here you are bringing back very old bits that happened decades ago to try to take Madonna down, that for example would never happen if she were male. Men are ALWAYS saying what they want and they never get get criticized for it. When a woman's in control she's a "bitch", when she has an opinion she's "manipulative". I hope it will change one day..

  • bell hooks Pt 5 cultural criticism (madonna)

  • She is wrong about Sarah Palin, she is not a Feminist, she is a cunt.

  • @QueerSwede1 she's wrong about pretty much EVERYTHING. This woman will be completely forgotten.

  • I agree with Camille on ALOT of things. I totally diagree with her on some things but boy do I feel a kinship with her on alot........religion, feminists in particular.

  • I discovered Madonna (in the full sense of "discovery") because of Camille Paglia - for that, I am eternally grateful.

  • As a man, you must love Paglia. Any woman who cannot see this isn't worthy of your company. Saves a lot of time...

  • Paglia is forever brilliant!

  • wimyn's studies !!! HAHAHHAHHHAHHAHAHHAH

  • I am a man and I love Paglia.

  • @Fersomling Is that supposed to be a surprising confession of some sort? Paglia is a self-hating woman, so whatever men love her, lover her misogyny and feel validated by it. Then again, misogyny is symptomatic of self-hate - so what you're really proclaiming here is: "I fucking hate myself!" Plenty of company where you come from, I'm afraid.

  • Feminists are jealous ugly bitches that hate men and beautiful women.

  • I bet she has long flappy meat curtains and a clitoris the size of a grape (shivers).

  • @legalizefemalecirc oh you ;)

  • @legalizefemalecirc No. Only weight lifting chicks have those qualities (at least the clit). Of course, any man who likes women like that (hypermuscular, with clitorises the size/look of a very small penis) is a latent homosexual. I mean, have you ever seen videos of these chicks? Yikes! Going down on them looks like giving a blowjob, and doggy-style sex looking at those muscular backs is like fucking Schwarzenegger.

  • LOL at this crazy old bitch. People care even less about you than they do that sellout Naomi Wolf. Too bad you never got over being snubbed by all your idols. Did Daniela finally cut you off?

  • I still like Camille, although I think she overrates Madonna and underrates Lady Gaga.

  • Sarah Palin? Really? I respect her accomplishments but she's not particularly special to me.

  • Paglia is brilliant!

  • o-k......

  • LOL !!

She means Madonna was a petit bourgois (thanks to Sean Penn)

  • why is this woman yelling?

  • @8tentacles I guess because she is enthusiastically communicating what she feels has been a long time coming and is just really excited.

  • @8tentacles This is LITERALLY her all the time. Always talks fast and loud. I think she's a passionate Italian of small stature from a big city and (maybe) a big family. Probably had to do that to get noticed growing up.

  • @8tentacles she thinks she has testosterone

  • @lovellespice She also thinks she has a brain.

  • It's interesting to see Paglia talk about feminism. She actually seems to be genuinely open minded to more views than just one. I think feminist close mindedness has been detrimental to the movement. It's hard to gain traction when only one view is adopted. Good for her.

  • @TheZarbodShow How is Madonna a feminist? She's twat...Horrible horrible person...

  • Paglia is full of shite, if Sarah Palin is the latest manifestation of feminism we are in trouble. Paglia still here? Perhaps because of her theory that human civilization is at it's best when male homosexuals are dominant in society and politics, hmmm...

  • @indabushwoman By best I mean zenith

  • No big surprise that Madonna has had lasting popularity and success, she has played the game according to the rules, those who refuse to bow to the male-dominated, materialist, narcissistic societal norms are marginalized in order to maintain the status quo.

  • @indabushwoman comma should be a semi-colon...

  • Surprise...

    Only...

The return of gentleness and tenderness...

    To restore serenity...

    To have dreams...

    Thanks to her beauty...

    Her mystical ... femininity...

    ....Aronne

  • Feminism should have been called humanism. The word itself was anti-male, and held back "feminism" for decades. I was always under the impression that feminists hated men....but I never felt that way about modern day feminists like Madonna

  • @zeusvalentine I think Madonna hates everybody, including her audience. They're just something to stand on. Unfortunately, after rendering obsolete the likes of Gloria Steinem, Madonna's identity encouraged a nasty, hard, absence of compassion (seen in her cackling about the RAPE of a hairdresser in her dopey yet blood-chilling documentary) that has crippled m/f coupling. Hopefully, we as a culture will outgrow the likes of Madonna.

  • I always tried to identify with feminism but never understood the anti-sexuality part.

  • O_O
