how much should i pay for this? also..can you recommend a good home printer with 19inch roll that will do both my auto cad prints and excellent photos? or would it better to have a dedicated laser printer for monochrome blueprints and a photo printer for photos? i do much more blue printes than i do photos and isnt laser cheaper with black?

I can purchase a refurbished HP DesignJet 4000ps 42" for $1500 but the company is a leasing company and they say "sold as is"! They claim they haven't tested it but works. What do you think?

You are using the wrong driver!! download the HP/GL2 driver

yes you can.. These units can use UV inks that are fade resistant but you will need to laminate it also for long term out door

Yes you can we do it all the time.. Just laminate it!! search for The Big Squeege!! It's a manual laminater adn it's cheap
