It's a difficult situation I think. JP and Craig were best friends when he started to fall in love. Sometimes you still fall in love with someone even though they're with someone else. And Craig fell in love with JP while he also loved Sarah. Craig never thought he'd feel that way about a man which is why it took him so long to come around. JP knows he deserves better and eventually stands up for himself, but Craig also realizes the most important thing to him and he eventually fights for it.
