Yeah I am in the mortgage business and our office went from 250 employees to 12. It's sad. Millions of people are having to foreclose on their homes, many industries are having huge layoffs. The automobile industry, banking, all over. Gas prices and everyday living costs go up at the worst possible time for the U.S. public. After seeing this every day and talking to these very people foreclosing and losing their jobs I had to get this off my chest.
Good one buddy, your lyrics are right on, It is so sad what people are going through at this time here in the U.S. I worked for one of the top cable companies for 7 yrs and earlier this year they shut us down and sent the jobs overseas....Over 500 hundred of us lost our jobs and most have been on a downward spiral finacially. So your song really hit home when I heard it, exactly how I feel... Great job.......
