Thanks for all the positive responses :). I finished the short in December of 2005 while at school. I sadly can't recall where I got this music. I ended up re-scoring it with Brian D Moody and the updated version can be found on my website mreberg.com.

reminds me of an old man I use to take care of in a home for elderly people. I still remember his care free attitude and that smile, even when the cancer was eating him away....my god, life just brings suffering. I hate to put like that. I wish people had more faith sometimes, things would be so different.

Many people around the whole world experiences this. Some are just waiting for their 'final hour' and making the most out of each moment. Living alone and having no one to talk to or share their life with. Even though that's the very reason, people like them are happy and contented. They have their beloved pets and God beside them. This really made me cry. Knowing the truth about what life is. You live and You'll say goodbye. Well, at least the old man is happy when he "slept for a lifetime".

Hmmm... Actually, the animation style and the greyscale reminds me alot of the clay animated film 'Mary and Max'.
