I find it hard to believe he's from India and yet seems surprised by all that happens. Poor people in India go through a 100x worse life. They don't even get welfare. No food. The shelters are so full due to population that there you end up on the road. I commend him for his donation but I think if he had donated the same money to an Indian rural village, he would have helped a lot more people for the same amount, and that money would help someone more desperately in need of it.

Although the minimum required donation is $100,000, during the Episode 4 airing with millionaire Gurbaksh Chahal only $90,000 was shown (two $35,000 donations & two $10,000 donations). However, the total donations exceeded $100,000 and also included a birthday fund and computer lab. Chahal was the pilot episode for the US series

Yes he could have given much more generously in the past but its the people who are born with a silver spoon that should feel the most guilty. Yeah, it is priceless to see all the negative publicity he's getting. He may be rich and smart at making money but he's pretty dopey at the way he comes across.

He just may redeem himself if he does the giveaway again and goes totally over the top with the $ given away.
