GT sucks if you watch the english version, watch it in japanese and you get a very beautiful series. It's the Grand side-story of the animated DB. I highly recommend you respect it and stop childishly bashing GT for what it is.

@AnimeMaakuo It's not a matter of better or worse. Dragon Ball was created by Akira Toriyama. The anime is the animated version of his work. If GT isn't based off an arc that he wrote such as the Buu, Cell and other previous arcs were, it isn't part of the real storyline.

There IS no actual continuation to the main series because Toriyama stopped his manga version at the end of Z.

Also the man was give a lot of creative control for the story. He supervises both the character designs as well as story as I already mentioned. Considering that Toriyama mightve actually worked his ass of on a new DB project like this, it's safe to say that the game is canon.

Though Toriyama did have some say in it as they reportedly sent scripts to him to review but how close the guy actually looked at them is something up for debate.

Toriyama stated himself that GT is completely non-cannon, and as such DragonBall Online continues on 216 years from the end of DragonBall Z and completely ignores anything that happened in GT (As Online's story WAS made by Toriyama)
Toei liked the series so much they asked Toriyama if they could take it through one more season, and he said yes.

shadow dragon saga was lack luster let's just say it was decent, ending for me was mixed emotions, everyone else was weak except Goku, and Funi's musical score sucked, however there were great fights.

@AnimeMaakuo It's not a matter of better or worse. Dragon Ball was created by Akira Toriyama. The anime is the animated version of his work. If GT isn't based off an arc that he wrote such as the Buu, Cell and other previous arcs were, it isn't part of the real storyline.

Besides a "cannon" is a piece of artillery that uses gunpowder for army tanks to blow shit up. With that being said, GT is a Grand Side-Story to the Animated DB series. There IS no actual continuation to the main series because Toriyama stopped his manga version at the end of Z.

@superkamehameha1000 hmm I'm pretty sure. I can't remember where i saw it, maybe a wiki or an interview, but I did see somewhere that creative control was given to toriyama. That to me means he wrote the story. As for your complaint about the animal thing, it's the programmer's fault and probably has nothing to do with the actual story. Let's just hope that once dbo gets a north american release the bugs will be kinked out.

@superkamehameha1000 Sorry man but I kind of have to correct you. Toriyama did write the story for DBO. The designs of the characters started roughly 3 years ago. Also the man was give a lot of creative control for the story. He supervises both the character designs as well as story as I already mentioned. Considering that Toriyama mightve actually worked his ass of on a new DB project like this, it's safe to say that the game is canon.

I liked GT, it was not on par with Z, but I still liked it. But the truth is that it is not part of the story.

@TheRamosOnline I see where you're coming from for this and I actually kind of agree. GT is canon but only for TOEI's version. And it was probably animated by fans who wanted to keep going. Though Toriyama did have some say in it as they reportedly sent scripts to him to review but how close the guy actually looked at them is something up for debate.

Toriyama stated himself that GT is completely non-cannon, and as such DragonBall Online continues on 216 years from the end of DragonBall Z and completely ignores anything that happened in GT (As Online's story WAS made by Toriyama)
Toei liked the series so much they asked Toriyama if they could take it through one more season, and he said yes.

Dragon Ball GT in my opinion was good, but it also had a lot of negatives.
Black star DB saga sucked boring as hell
Baby saga was pretty good I enjoyed it, probably the best thing in GT
Super 17 saga was way to short but still cool seeing the old villains again
shadow dragon saga was lack luster let's just say it was decent, ending for me was mixed emotions, everyone else was weak except Goku, and Funi's musical score sucked, however there were great fights.

He never trained as hard as trunks and goten. Goten trainning with a Super Saiyan and having ssj power at young age because he has might as Goten said trunks and him play fight that makes them strong futher more trunks gravity trainning. vegito wasnt made. He got bullied by them and turned ssj when he faught his friend died. Gohan turned ssj with might and he couldnt allow Cell to kill everyone. Goten had might. So im preaty much saying that to turn ssj you need might AND perpose. Pan couldnt go ssj BUT Goku Jr could and I THINK Pan in GT>SSJ Goku Jr :)
