@Anthip I remember patching FE6. That was also a pretty easy process to do as well. Either you had to rename the IPS file the same as the GBA file name or you could patch it with LunarIPS. I tended to just patch it with LunarIPS.
@catwesage While this is a very unrelated comment to the video, I shall ask you a question about the video. Did this video help you patch the game, or did you just find a random video to watch and decided to put a random comment upon it?
Whenever i drag the game to the "Drag Here" file, it says "the xdelta patching utility was unable to apply the patch. Make sure to use the original ROM and extract all of the patch files to same folder before running this."
@XiiTriggerx What was the name of the ROM? What was the size of the ROM that you have? Have you tried a fresh download of the ROM from a different site?
@Illumio0000 I tried two ROMs. Fire Emblem Shin Monshou no Nazo ~ Hikari to Kage no Eiyuu.rar, and something else, it had numbers before it. The size of the first one is... hm. 52.1 MB. I got it from mediafire.
@XiiTriggerx Did you extract the ROM from the RAR file? You HAVE to do that. After you extract, you should get a file called Fire Emblem Shin Monshou no Nazo ~ Hikari to Kage no Eiyuu.nds which should be 128MB big. Try the process again with the .nds file and tell me how it goes.
@XiiTriggerx Right click the file, and it should say "Extract All" or if you lave 7-Zip installed on your computer (link in desc) then after you right click there should be a 7-zip option, hover over that and there should be an extract here. That's how you extract files from .zip, .rar, .7z, .tg and other compressed files.
If only it was this easy when I was trying to patch FE6 way back when, haha. Thanks for vid!

Can you give me a rom link
SwTVi3TJew3l 3 months ago
@SwTVi3TJew3l That I definitely cannot due since:
1) If I were to put a ROM link in the YouTube Description, this video would become more liable to become removed by a large factor.
2) I am part of the FE12 Translation Patch Team; I will not give out the ROM link.
3) I said specifically in the video that I will not give anyone a ROM link, not even through PM.
4) Seriously, Google it. That's how I found mine really quick. Stop being lazy.
