  • Tim, whats goin on boss. One game away from the super bowl. You really helped me out last week with my RBs. They came through big. Especially DMC. Should I roll with the same 3 rb's this week, or do u like Blount vs Det. better than them. Also, I got Sidney Rice goin as my WR2. Do u like him or V-Jax more this week?

  • @MagzAmillion84 I'm glad to hear my advice helped you!

I really like LeGarrette Blount against Detroit, but I find it hard to believe that he'll put up better numbers than Darren McFadden, Ray Rice, or Jamaal Charles this week.

I'd go with Sidney Rice over Vincent Jackson at wide receiver. The Bears tough against the run, but they rank 18th in the league in pass defense. Keep an eye on the weather though. It sounds like the Vikings are going to be outdoors for this one.

  • dropped Moeaki for Ed Dickson from baltimore but also could pick up Brandon Pettigrew from Detroit or Owen Daniels or Jimmy Graham or Shiancoe or John Carlson. i have Denver Defense but feel confident as they r playing Arizona but should i not be?

  • @houlihanw I think you can have confidence in the Denver defense. It sounds like John Skelton is going to start for Arizona, so the Broncos should be able to put up some good numbers. Ed Dickson is a decent option, but make sure Todd Heap is out before you play him. I also like Brandon Pettigrew this week.

  • @timlewissports would u just straight pickup pettigrew or roll with dickson as it sounds to me like heap is definately out. where r u hearing he is going to play?

  • @houlihanw I haven't heard anyone say that Heap is going to play. I know there was hope he would return to practice this week (in preparation for Monday's game), but that never happened. I think Dickson and Pettigrew have fairly similar value this week. Dickson is more of a gamble (he's a bit of an unknown), while Pettigrew has averaged fives catches for 50 yards this season. He's the safer choice and the guy I'd turn to this week over Dickson.

  • tony moeaki for TE or would u consider someone else at TE?

  • @houlihanw I accidentally deleted my response to you, so I apologize if you are getting this again. I'm a little concerned about Kansas City's pass game this week. I think the Chiefs will run the ball like crazy against the Chargers, plus Matt Cassel is questionable after an appendectomy earlier this week. I don't think Moeaki is a great option this week, but I don't know who your other choices are. Let me know!

  • @vangsengyee Please let me know if you get this! A Wisconsin Badgers fan, huh? I was born in Milwaukee, so I still root for UW. I would definitely go with Chris Cooley over Visanthe Shiancoe this week. Thanks for the question!

  • @timlewissports (huh?)... lol!

  • Blount doesn't play atlanta. he plays washington. does that change anything 4 u? he actually just played atlanta n had 120 n a TD i believe.

  • @MagzAmillion84 Sorry. That's my bad! I know that he plays Washington this week (I just typed the wrong team), so that doesn't change what I told you before. I'd stick with Ray Rice, Jamaal Charles, and Darren McFadden.

  • I AM TORN! finished 10-3 in a 12 man league. used to making key decisions but this one is BENDING MY MIND! START 3 OF THESE RUNNING BACKS! You have the Power: L. Blount vs WAS, DMC vs JAX, Ray Rice vs HOU, J. Charles vs SD. Pick 3!

  • @MagzAmillion84 Thanks for the question! That's not a bad situation to be in.

I would start Jamaal Charles, Ray Rice, and Darren McFadden this week. Blount should do well against Atlanta, but I think your three other options are better.

Please let me know if you need anything else.

  • Need three of these 4 RB's: CJ23 Lesean McCoy, Lagarrete Blount or Tashard Choice and also need 2 of these WR's: Hakeem Nicks, Earl Bennett, James Jones, Blair White or Brandon Marshall Thanks for the help all year which has gotten me the fifth seed in playoffs with first round starting this week.

  • @houlihanw also add Danario Alexander to the list of my available receivers to choose from

  • @houlihanw I think Danario Alexander is a much better insurance policy than Earl Bennett, but I wouldn't rate him much higher than that right now (compared to your other choices).

  • @houlihanw I'm more than happy to help! Thanks for all the questions this season.

At running back, I'd go with Chris Johnson, LeSean McCoy, and LeGarrette Blount this week. Tashard Choice is a close third, but he's a bit of a gamble.

I'd play Hakeem Nicks (if he's healthy) and Brandon Marshall this week. If Nicks can't play, I'd lean on James Jones. Blair White plays on Thursday, so leave him out of the equation (so you can see how the injuries unfold). You have Earl Bennett as insurance.

  • made it to the playoffs... dunno if pierre thomas is gonna be back but either way, Ivory or Torian saying Torian is playing??

  • @mcbrizzle82 I'm sorry for the late response.

Ryan Torain is back in practice, but it's unclear if he'll play. I don't trust what's happening in Washington right now. If Torain plays, he should have some value against Tampa Bay. I'm not feeling him though.

It sounds like Pierre Thomas is going to play. The Saints have the luxury of easing him back into action thanks to depth at RB. Chris Ivory is a beast and I still expect him to see plenty of carries this week.

    I'd go with Ivory.

  • Hey Tim. I commented alittle while back and you continue to impress me with these videos. I'm 12-1 and this isn't a game that I must win but I have the Jets D and the San Diego D. Which one should I start this week? Both Defenses don't translate well in fantasyland. Do you think it's worth dropping San Diego D and picking up Atlanta? I need a solid Defense going into the playoffs as well. Think you can help me? Thanks.

  • @kylehaas12 Atlanta was picked up already, so scratch that idea, Sorry.

  • @kylehaas12 Thanks for the great compliment! Congrats on the 12-1 record.

I don't think the Jets are a terrible option this week against Miami. I definitely think they're a better pick than the Chargers. I'm afraid Jamaal Charles and Thomas Jones are going to run all over San Diego.

I also think the Jets are a good defense moving forward. I rate them as one of my Top 10 teams the remainder of the year.

  • Flopped last week man... Cassel, Bowe and Lloyd lost it for me.

    This week:

    QB: Cassel (eehhhh)

HB: Thomas Jones, Cedric Benson, Fred Jackson, Mike Goodson, Tashard Choice, James Starks (2) ---Should I pick up Ryan Torain for a possible matchup?

WR: Malcom Floyd, Brandon Lloyd, Mike Williams, Dwayne Bowe (2)

    TE: Tamme

    K: Tynes

    DEF: Atlanta, Kansas City

  • @npa4ever911 I'm not trying to make excuses, but it was a strange week last week.

Here's what I think for you this week:

QB: Matt Cassel. Are there no better options?

RB: Thomas Jones and Fred Jackson. I don't think Ryan Torain carries much value.

WR: Malcolm Floyd and Brandon Lloyd. Mike Williams of SEA or TB?

    TE: Jacob Tamme

    K: Lawrence Tynes

DEF: Atlanta. I say that without hesitation.

Let me know if you need anything else!

  • @timlewissports

I don't have many other options... Gerrard, Palmer, Stanton, Campbell and Kitna are available as free agents. I could probably drop a running back if I need to to get a QB.

I have Mike Williams from Tampa Bay.

  • @npa4ever911 I don't see Matt Cassel having a big day, but the other options don't knock my socks off either. I'd stick with what you have and keep your fingers crossed. If Cassel doesn't put up numbers this week, he should bounce back next week against St. Louis.

  • Good stuff man. What do you think for this week, Jeremy Maclin or Mike Tolbert at flex?

  • @joeguy02 That's a tough call. I expect Jeremy Maclin to have a big week, but I usually start running backs in the flex position. Mike Tolbert was hot until last week. He only had seven carries for 16 yards. He should bounce back this week against Kansas City though. With all of that said, I'd go with Tolbert this week (unless you're in a PPR league...then I'd go with Maclin).

  • Great video tim, keep up the good work.

Who would be your top two picks at RB, WR and DEF this week

  • @SuperGeezer6 Thanks for the compliment!

Here's what I think this week:

RB: Chris Johnson and Peyton Hillis

WR: Greg Jennings and Reggie Wayne

DEF: New York Giants and Green Bay Packers

    I hope that helps!
