Although I don't really get why people are discussing "Emo" or "Goth"? Deadstar Assembly themselves describes their music as "Industrial/Metal/Gothic Rock" meaning Industrial metal/rock with a hint of goth kind of. I think it kinda depends since metal is a bit harder sound than rock.. It doesn't really need to be specific. And it's not that hard to look it up...
