I found out generally americans tend to like 28 weeks later more, for the fact you have the american army coming in saving the day, with sniper scenes, that crazy chopper scene while Brits and others generally prefer the 28 days later for more realism and it get's the survivors view, much more a horror survival movie compared to 28 weeks which is more a horror action movie. I also don't think it would be contained to the UK because of the channel tunnels bridged france and UK+planes nd boats.

@98raza20 I'm American and I like 28 Days Later, although 28 Weeks Later wasn't bad but nowhere near as good as 28 Days Later. I connected more with the characters in 28 days later better.

The only two places in the entire world anyone would be relatively safe are Antarctica and Madagascar.

Think about it: it's almost impossible to fly to Madagascar, it's not like they have an international airport or anything, and Antarctica has at best 300 humans. They ALSO don't have an international airport. They're both completely separated from the rest of the world, and we all know Zombies can't swim... well.

So your best bet is to live in a third world country, or permanent winter.

Yeah, it's a serious rage that causes people to go crazy, get red eyes and just start killing people. Like how people get road rage, it's like that except 100x crazier.

The thing is that they don't have to be dead to be one of the zombies. They can easily be infected if some of the zombie's blood gets in their body. So they're basically still alive, the blood just causes you to lose their mind.

I can say without a word of a lie that no film has ever scared me as much as this one. I don't think it was the infected that scared me, but rather the overall hopelessness and loneliness of the film! Seeing familiar streets totally devoid of life was genuinely terrifying!
