This has exactly the same problems as the Segway. It works on flat surface in slow speed. 15 mph is not faster than a normal bicycle so there is really no point or environment friendly about it. Biggest problem is when the surface is slick and you loose traction or hitting an obstacle. You will fall over!
These 'alternative transport' ideas are all a bunch of crap! Bicycles have been around for thousands of years, and we still have trouble taking them mainstream, so how about an "Uno?"

That was absolutely ludicrous. Did they miss what he said or what...the bike balances itself by speeding up and slowing down! Explain then how you would keep a constant speed or better yet how it would react to a sudden shift at 80 km/h.
This will never, ever be big. Might have a small market in Japan, but in N.A./Europe forget it!

I think it will take some adjustment, like learning how to ride a standard bicycle. However, the fact that it's electric and far less limited than the Segway transportation wise will play into its success. I for one would save up and buy one, it looks very nice.

If S2000TypeRVTEC3 is correct about the UNO being a toy. I would Iike to infer then that all automobiles (including cars) are nothing more than expensive toys. Therefore I guess that says a lot about our current automobile industry, and that it won't last.
