@teaandpipe Call of Duty has run its course. It nearly killed itself with its run at the WW2 era, now, its doing the exact same thing as before. Dragging on a game series that should have Died long ago. After World at War, it moved onto Modern Warefare. After the 2nd, they continued on what they did with WW2. Using the same thing, over and over, only using different locations and people. Basically though, its the same damn thing time and time again. Halo is also another series that does this.

EA has this facade that BF3 is "The most realistic" . I strongly disagree that BF3 comes close to realism. As realism lies with small time games like Arma and that one BF2 mod called Project Reality. Ignorant people will think BF3 is realistic, and people should know realism is boring... which is why the highly highly unrealistic CoD franchise gets so much attention. EA with the "realism" lies should just stop it... it's not helping.

@megafio - The reason COD is so popular is because thats what kids want. An unimaginative arcade style, quick scoping pile of rubbish. To them its "fun". To hard core gamers who appreciate tactics and realism, Arma is the way to go. Cod reminds me of a cross between those old arcade style games like Unreal Tournament etc..haha.. Operation Flashpoint, Arma series, Rainbow Six series..those are hot.

If there is ever a game, in wich injuries influence the action in a logical way, and in wich medics need to heal those injuries in sort of physics-bio-puzzlegame. THAT would be realistic.

@JilutheFang Yes, the most popular mod for Arma 2 is called ACE. Injuries influence the action very much. Grunts have to use bandages to patch up bleeding. Although they still need morphine, which they can get from a medic. If they don't bandage or inject themselves with morphine in time, the bleeding and pain will worsen, causing them to eventually faint. When unconscious, you must be treated with bandages, epinephrine and morphine. Then you need a medkit to treat any disabled/broken limbs.

Well ive seen a couple unrealistic things about this game, but they are minor in comparison to saluting in the field, especially in a combat zone. REALLY??? lmao if you want your commander to go bye bye then keep doing that. Other than that the graphics could use a lot of work and get some realistic things that i bet youd never ever see in a video, like your weapon jamming or for once actually running out of bullets
