@mrZdude can i get a sound like this on my z31 turbo based on your personal experience? this sounds almost exactly like the z32 N/A engine (VG30DE).. the vg30e was much more raspy at high rpm's

@bertrab87 No, the reason this car sounds different is because it doesn't have the Z31s log manifolds with a crossover tube anymore. It has tubular headers. The Z31 turbo has log manifolds with a crossover tube, and there is really no option to get rid of those short of custom fabbed manifolds.

amazing sounds... MSA cat-back exhaust is $250 but i would rather do custom piping with a borla muffler...

yeah MSA has a pretty good set-up, you could always try custom piping with a Flowmaster 40 series muffler. thry make every car sound amazing

Its mostly the headers, a lot of Z31s with headers get a similar sound.

i bought the headers from the previous owner and put them on myself, so i have no clue what their original MSRP was. the company that made them is not in business anymore btw.

I also have the Monza/Pacesetter headers on my other Z, they arent too bad.

it has a Magnaflow high-flow and Hotshot headers

and yes, it is the original vg30
