All the kids on here seem to be middle class or higher. I don't see any poorer characters. I remember being 13 when season 2 was airing and I only caught two episodes when I stayed with my brother for the summer. I grew up without cable but even with two random season 2 episodes that I watched, I felt this show was something I could relate to on many levels. I'm now 23 and just finished watching the rest of the entire series that I missed out on. Even though I'm not in high school and just recently graduated college, everything on this show resonates. One of the best shows of the 90s.

Daria got me through a very difficult period in school, and this ending does justice to an amazing show that's very special to me. Though there is that awful sadness that comes with the series being over, there isn't the empty feeling that a bad or incomplete ending leaves. Great movie, great show, can't wait for the DVDs. I could've watched this movie yesterday, but I choose to watch it today on it's 8th anniversary of when it first aired on January 21, 2002. And since then Daria was on the N, which pissed many fans off, due to the editing of most of the episodes, and unairings of some episodes. But since Daria hasn't aired on tv in 2006, we all wanted Daria on dvd, and after eight years or so, we will finally see Daria on dvd this year.

I used to watch all these adult cartoons in the 90s. Including this show anf "King Of The Hill". There was a cahrecter on KOTH that i called my "Ideal Woman", "My Girlfriend", but the actress, Brittany Murphy died. I felt widowed. But then i remembered Daria, and i found her on YouTube, all the episodes and these movies.

Daria consoled me, i guess you could say she's become my "2nd wife" after the unexpected death of my "first".
