CeCe Pe was the greatest thing to Bust out at the top of the 90s, the feel good Queen but ppl chose sadness over happyness shortly after when Mary J Blige came out more ppl seem to rather feel the pain and sadness so a majority of the support went Mary's way. i liked Mary but nothing like CeCe Peniston, if the truth is told CeCe is actually the one that was always strong and possitive when Mary J Blige was ready to give up. but the industry supported Mary J more because of MONEY.

I will co-sign with some of the posters about how old CeCe Peniston looked in her first two videos. I thought she was between 35-40 years old at the time and never really knew her true age back then until the late 1990's when she did an interview and mentioned she was a beauty queen back in the late 80's. Unbelievable that she was only 22 years old when she hit it big. With all the bullshit music out here today, I am hoping that acts like CeCe and EnVogue make a comeback.

I lived with this chick once and I was a dog. I came home at 6am in the morning drunk, smelling like Budussy from a night of carousing and cheating. CeCe has told me so many times how she was so frustrated with the stylist that the label use to assign to her because they didn't know how to do her hair, make-up and how to dress her. That's why she looked so much older in her first 2 videos "Finally" and " Love thang". By the time "Keep on walkin" came ot they got some1 who knew how to style a "sista" and they had her looking her age. CeCe looks atleast 10 yrs younger here than in her earlier videos.

Ce Ce was one of the hottest acts back in the 90's, not to mention one of the finest women ever.
