It WAS Faux that made the first call -- I'm sorry if Micheal Moore bringing it everyone's attention is troublesome to you. If the late results favored Bush WHY then did his supposed victory margin evaporate to nothing right AFTER he was crowned the winner. And the networks then had to retract their bogus call. The late count came mainly from south Florida.
@marcostar57 do you really believe other networks take order from fox, really? really? that is a sign of true idiocy. It sounds more to me like you let michael moore tell you what to think.
@crd721 It's called 'herd mentality' -- Faux was the first to call it for Bush; the others followed. Then they all hard egg on their face. Study a bit & learn your history -- since YOU seem to be the idiot!
@marcostar57 herd mentality? interesting thing to say for someone who took michael moore's talking points. They got information from the voter news service, who reported the results before the polls closed in the ENTIRE state. Part of the state is in the central time zone and is an hour behind the rest of the state and that part of the state is HEAVILY republican, which is why the results later came in more republican.
Thats true since its the queen of the United Kingdom, not England. It would be like saying Obama is the President of Michigan. tThe title of Sovereign of England hasnt existed since 1701 when the Act of Union made Scotland, Wales and England the United Kingdom of Great Britain (I didnt include Ireland since Ireland is now completely Interdependent of the UK).
Thats why I said Ireland. I dont include the entire island when I say Ireland. The official Republic of Ireland is all the counties except those that make up Northern Ireland (the six under British control). I kno unionists say Irleand to mean it all but thats not the case. Its like Taiwan and Mainline china arguing over who is the real china since one claims its the dem rep of China and the other the Peoples Rep of china
Its a matter of syntax man. Congress and parliament have different roots but function the same way. Its like saying Assembly and Legislature are different. And Texas isnt called the Texas Congress. Its the Legislature. And Parliament or congress are legislative bodies. If they want to use one of their colloquial words, who cares. We do it all the time with foreign institutions. Dont be such a narrow-minded American. The Texas Legislature is a parliament or Congress. Its just a name.
@Joe402 Ha ha! No my "useful idiot" friend. It means that we need much better leadership in Washington, DC than the entrenched, ass-clowns that we have now. Reform is fine if it's actual bi-partisan reform and not a blatant, big gov't power-grab, say like health care, "stimulus," cap & trade, etc.
Oh, it would also be swell if they could actually read proposed bills in Congress before blindly supporting them. And would it kill them to read a state law before they blindly criticize it?
What the hell is a state "parliament"? There should be a rule that foreign correspondents understand the foreign system of governance if they are going to cover it. This would be akin to an American journalist calling Parliament "Congress". In the literal sense, they mean the same thing (an assembly of legislators); however, in the political sense, they are significantly different bodies.
Texas was the last state to formaly become part of the US. It was making its own legislation since it was independent so thats why it has a parliament building.
Ive seen Peter Snow in military documentaries before hes sick.

I checked your profile:
"Democrats were WARNED of Financial crisis and did NOTHING "
That sounds like a good argument for stronger financial regulations and/or the smashing of Capitalism.
