Tiger Woods like any celeb has an entourage with a financial interest in protecting the persons image while pandering to their every wish. When you reach the top you don't have anyone saying NO or saying DON'T.
Also we live in a culture where morality has a price, if you pay $50 you get a prostitute, if you pay $5000 you get an escort, when you get caught with a prostitute your career is over, but an escort is easily forgiveable...

Isn't that a good thing? Who give a rip if Wilt slept with 10,000 women. Who cares if Tiger slept with a million? What the eff do I care about their personal lives? Play ball!

I'm hoping 6 more women will come forward; then, Tiger will have his own female, 18-hole-course, that men can try to play-- if they are lousey at golf.

All I can say is this is a dialable paradigm. Some celebs are total narcissists, they consume media attention like a crack whore smokes rock. But the majority of celebs are like the rest of us, they want to have their dirty laundry stay fully concealed forever more. I would say that Tiger is a secretive kinda guy.
