Sonic the Hedgehog was just released, but the backstories and character data were lacking abit.

Basically, Sonic is the Hero, Tails is the sidekick and Robotnik is the Vilian.

It wasn't untill Sonic Adventure that we were officially introduced to everyone.

The only way for the creators of this series to actually make stories and adventures for Sonic and Tails was to wing it.

All-in-All, this series was, No! IS the best Sonic Show!

the footage of Sonic swimming is taken from the orignial pilot episode with Milton Knight's work and the badniks in this cartoon Roller and Ballhog are from the first game but however ballhog looks different from his Sonic 1 counterpart and the robots from the footage with Sonic swimming are from Sonic the Hedgehog 2 including the pirahnas from Emerald Hill and Aquatic Ruins and the Octopus from Oil Ocean.
