@GrimangelX4 Soulcalibur 2 and 3 were the best, the campaign in my opinion are very important in soul calibur, i really enjoyed the tales of souls or whatever from soul calibur 3 and although two's was very long and confusing it was better than four and five.. four had stupid stat things and that retarded tower thing, and broken destiny had its stupid gauntlet.

I thought the game was excellent by all accounts except for the diffuculty..... its considerably faster & less merciful than SC4 on console despite being already handicapped with a small screen & the psps puny controls. The needless hypered gameplay degrades it into a pointless & frustrating button masher. The point is, if I'm an awsome player on the console, I should be at least close to the same on the psp ......and not suck monkey balls like I do

they should have included onlinee gameplay or at least something like in DR where you don't fight but at least you get your records displayed online... got both games, on one hand tekken is better since you have the online feature and it has a more consistent storyline (don't get me started on the soul calibur plot here) but on the other hand in soul calibur you have more freedom of item choice and most importantly freedom to move, you get to move more easily there unlike in DR...

@TheIsisore if they keep dampierre it would be kind of weird. You could use his style as a base and make a goofy, ass-slapping, sexual predator version of Altair/Ezio which i might do now that i think of it..

Tekken over this, they remove too much from IV, which already removed enough from III.

I would only get it to fight others on the go, a limitation that hindered players of IV and the other previous titles.

@Kamionikage BS!This game actually has some of the hardest Ai ever(if you play the Mode where you choose to fight opponents Hit the ones with the Most wins/loss records). And now that it has the online mode up(versus) i Give this game a 9.5/10.

@Tyrik73 QUICK MATCH is what you are referring to, and if knowing the name of the mode you are trying to debate with in your defense holds any value then you SHOULD know what you are talking about.

QUICK MATCH was far too easy. I found myself obtaining all 200 titles within 24 hours, and obtaining near most all achievements, except the "GAUNTLET" ~ahem *fail tutorial*~, achievements within another 24.

@Tyrik73 The AI were so ridiculously easy that I would say they were "absolutely laughable". Get the reference? They were easy to manipulate. They were easy to predict. Previous installments of the series featured more challenging AI, wary somewhat about the SCII AI, but for certain SCIII Tournament AI were trickier, and in turn deemed more challenging.

@Tyrik73 The AI for SC:BD were mere folly. I do not understand how you came to the conclusion that this had "some of the hardest Ai ever", they were easy. I am refering to the top 30, which I find surprising since the top 9 were more flawed than any. Surprisingly, Serenade of Madness gave me more trouble than any, but that may be due in part to my playstyle.

Even without using any manipulative combos, it was still easy.

I will tell you first, or rather I should have stated first, that I AM a VERY DEDICATED Soul Caliber fanboy. I would have this series over any other 3d fighting game, even over the 2d/2.5d games that I grew up with.

@Tyrik73 Features are understandable, it is, to me, a relatively early PSP game for the series. Feature replacement was a poor choice. Graphics were decent. Gameplay was consistent with the previous installments. This game, imo, receives a score of 7/10 at best.

The character-creator looks cool, but based on the descriptions I'm getting of the, I'm either missing something or there just isn't much in terms of a worth-while sigle player experience. I think I'll pass this one up and just stick with Dark Ressurection on handheld.

I have this and the lack of a story/arcade mode is certainly noteacible/annoying/ and you wonder why the hell its not there, but the game play is (as with most SC's) so dam good (and there are modes for extended play) it means this game is still very good if not great. Worth if you want a new tecnically fantastic 3D fighter for your PSP, if you not that bothered then yes think twice.
