  • ランド~かっちょいい!!

  • Thanks for this video. Great to see and hear a young boz, I'm a huge fan of more than thirty years. He is simply the best, and sexy...wow.

  • Boz always has the best female background singers on his albums and in concert !!!

  • One of my all time favourite songs, that lead break by Santana is out of this world! ('Georgia' from his first album is my #1 of all time)

  • Great concept! The arrangement reminds me of Michael Bolton's (yeah, I know!)

How am I Supposed to Live Without You. Only fortunately, without Michael Bolton.

  • I have seen Boz 3 times going back to 1978. Never heard him do this. Always loved the song but knew it would be tough outside of a studio.

  • 1980... left all behind to enter the university.... played this song over and over again when I missed her.... wonder what became of her now...

  • great solo!!!! M Landou!!!!

  • The guitar solo is nothing short of amazing - definitely love affair between man and guitar. I've watched it many times - each time there is something new and different about it. He makes it scream!

  • Believe it or not, I was visiting a mega church in Atlanta and the pianist played an instrumental version of this song during the offertory! I nearly fell out of my chair. I wonder if anyone else recognized it. This song gets me every time.

  • Been in love with him for years! Going to his concert this Sept. I can't wait!!!!

  • after love look what you've done to me his best song, but there were so many great songs..the king of ballads

  • A most gorgeous song, reminds me of my early teens. Along with JoJo, and Breakdown Deadahead, a fab album.

  • Everytime I hear this song, I think of when my husband and I fell in love in June of 1980. I had "Middle Man" and played it so much that I had to buy another. Loved the Boz madly back then and 30 years later I still love both my husband AND Boz. Thank you Boz for the passion in your music, lyrics and smokey, sexy vocal chops.

  • i have the very great and amazing pleasure to have Michael Landau (the guy who is doing the guitar solo here) on my First Jazz album.

you can't beleive how cool and how great it is to work with this guy.he has been my favorite guitar player since i discoved his TAles from the bulge album around 1994 , and working with him today .. woaaaw ....

thanks for the video ! live moment professionally shoted and aired with michael is so rare !

  • Michael Landau on guitar everyone. Michael Landau. I applaud your face-melting solo once more.

  • CLASSIC GUITAR SOLO.

  • I like this song! thank you your posting.

  • Went to his outdoor concert Myers Bowl Melbourne in 1978. Fantastic ! This tune came few years after and probably my fave, being a romantic that I am, the other is Slow Dancer. Boz Scaggs is special, Bobby Caldwell was another in this category of music.

  • You're right! I love Bobby Caldwell and have cd's never made the connection...funny.

  • Heart of MIne.. is accredited originally to Boz Scaggs but I think Bobby Caldwell played a part in the songwriting. Both released the tune individually. Caldwell released an album named after that tune. That is real proof of the connection !

  • @pokslow Hi It was Bobby that wrote it and Boz covered it. So you are right.

  • Was really hoping to hear this last night at his concert but no luck. Good show though, the female backup singer was amazing. What a voice!

  • Another David Foster & Boz Scaggs Music ! Very nice. I Love This Song. It remind me of my (past) younger life.

  • odes anyone know what album this is on?

  • Its from the album "Middle Man".

  • It's also on Bozs' "Hits" album.

  • awesome guitar solo...who is that!!

  • Believe it or not, Carlos Santana.

  • That is NOT Carlos Santana! Dude in this video is white cat, and he plays a Strat, something Carlos doesn't use much of. I don't know who that is, but it ain't Carlos.

  • @jongreek Yes, that AIN'T Carlos. But like you I don't know who that is......not a bad solo, but not as good as the man himself.

  • lol

  • This is one of Boz trademark songs and although no one can do justice to redo the song I will try to sing this one with the band infront of my long lost best friend Joanne... If God will permit. Bless you Boz for all of your soulful songs....

  • Great tune.

  • This song is amazing as is Boz! So heartfelt, soulful, sexy, sincere. He is a class act and we are all sooo blessed to have his gift of music in our lives. Beautiful vocals, beautiful man! Wow!! Thanks for the post!!

  • boz....stay healthy....live long.....godbless..please come to Manila,philippines...

  • It takes me on a nostalgic trip....

  • It's such a masterpiece... I was glad to have seen the music video before youtube took it down

  • This is one of those songs you don't hear too often but when you do it's that much more special - like Boz.

  • What a fab song and Boz will always be the greatest to me. Love him & miss hearing new stuff of his. Thanks for the video.

  • beauty of a song. but in this 1985 set of videos, the cameramen were determined to hide from us the identity of the drummer. i give up.

  • I think it's probably Carlos Vega. Just a guess though.

  • Just Beautiful Boz~

  • 28 years ago?!? damn!!

  • Beautiful voice! Beautiful song! Ladies, who is with me out here??? He is an absolutely gorgeous man as well!

  • I saw him first!!! LOL Besides being such a great singer...he is sexy as can be.

  • I have to agree - and he never loses his appeal! I espcially love this song - so heartfelt and beautiful!

  • @sugglygal

Oh yes. Love his voice. As you said "gorgeous". Have you seen the video where he s singing Cadillac Walk? Soooo goood.....

  • His music is ageless.

The man is a geat musician...and a great lyricist. This song gives me goosebumps.

    What a romantic!!!

Easily my favourie male artist of all time.

  • my wife and i danced to this song at our wedding.....i need to marry her all over again!

  • B0000zzzzz.. is in love with the language...and it's magic...in words or song.. the expression of verbality is the entrance to his heart... He admires Solid, people. and is willing to share his FAME with all those arouind him. He'l be the first to visit you in a hospital with words of encourangment. A great friend of many. Not ego-centric. A GEM of a Gemini. thanks Bozzz for all you creativity for US... out here...

  • 大好きでした。なつかし\\\

  • Bring back memory of our time. Thanks for posting.

  • Goosebumps!!!"Yikes"

  • I can lay in my woman's arms and listen to this jam over & over. Boz Scaggs is such a hip cat. I dig "Were All Alone" & "Look What You've Done" - But "You Can Have Me Anytime" is just the coolest! The quintessential Boz ballad.

  • beautiful memories

  • taka and jean,..your memories of the 80's.this song say it all!

  • P.S. Thank you for sharing Kenzo.

P.P.S. I just bought Boz' CD 'Hits' with this song on it (I've already got it) as a present for someone special yesterday.

  • hits is great

have listened to it for years now

    still love it

    still a favorite

fun to see these live versions

  • Me too

    A gem

    Beautifully balanced

    What an album should be

    Very special

  • Sublime!

  • btw, check out who plays the guitar solo on the Hits version of this song.

blew me away when i read it.

  • I don't have my copy to hand, and I don't seem to be able to find out on the internet, but I will find out soon - don't tell me! What I did find out at Amazon is that they (Sony) have re-mastered it, deleting this song, whilst adding others - for me this song is integral - plenty of times I've played it, the one song, for 30 minutes or more at a time - AND the bright pink jacket is gone too - A TRAVESTY! (No, seriously, any Boz is good, but to me the original Hits! is a classic.)

  • That's the great CARLOS SANTANA who does that great solo on the studio version!

  • isn't that great?!!!

one night i was listening to that song, have heard literally hundreds of times, and i thought, Wow that sure sounds like Carlos. so i got out the cd liner and looked at the credits and there he was!

Carlos Santana is such a great talent! And a generous spirit as well.

Boz and Carlos are a great combination, as you know.

Twould be nice if they would do some more songs together.

    :D

  • @jimmy19029 Yep, the great Carlos, the one and only. Only the best for a most beautiful song.

  • One of my favorite ballads by Boz! Nice solo Les! Favorite Boz ballad "Perfect One" from "Twist of Fate" Soundtrack with David Foster & Toto's Steve Lukather! Whole soundtrack is pretty awesome!

  • That's Michael Landau on the solo. Nicely done, Mr. Landau.

  • Berr,

DEFINITELY to Ray and John!!! They can have us ANYTIME!!!!!

p.s. Boz is steamin'!!!!!! I love that man!!

  • WOW!! great memories!

  • I love this song.
