Preciosísimo video y super educativo! Qué manera más natural de iniciar el amamantamiento. Quisiera compartirlo con mis compañeros de enfermería. Lo tienen con subtítulos en inglés? Sería buenísimo!
what fascinates me more than anything is how the baby finds it on its own and knows why to do it. its just so crazy how an infant knows something like that. and that goes for all species not just humans. nature truly has some wonders...
Wow, this is it...I love this to the depths of my soul...do you know why "women" of the world? Because this is one of the special things we do that gives us the greatest sacred value. I just loved this and I loved it even more that the whole village was there and did you notice how they touched the mother while the baby does the most ancient ritual there is in life...the baby found his mother's teat on his own. All other babies in nature have to do that. This is beautiful.
What a beautiful video. Breastfeeding my daughter has been (and is) one of the most beautiful experiences of my lifetime. I can imagine what this mother felt when her baby crawled to her breast, it's pure magic.
I hope your joking when you say that breastfeeding is sexual. Not only does it NOT bring out thoughts of sex it actually brings out more of a nurturing and motherly feeling of caring and nurishing your baby. You feel like you want to protect them from all the impurity and evil in the world.
the erotism is only in a person´s mind. I breastfed my babies and the last thing which crossed my mind in those sublime, beautiful moments was sex. In fact I didn´t ever thought about this as something sexy. People must be really insane if they see it that way.
You cant. The baby doesnt think like you do, he/she dont know that the breast mean food.
Im saying this cuz I tried that when my cat had kittens. I tried to help them find their mom's breast but they just keep moving around and looking somewhere else until they found it by themselves.
This is so beautiful! I never wanted to breastfeed until I say this video. It would be a bit uncomfy for me to have all those people standing around tho...
Well, I tried breast feeding, my baby was not having it. The nurses in the hospital tried, he was very impatient. I ended up having to constantly be connected to a pump like a cow.
Unfortunately, in most hospitals the child is presented to breast far more than one hour after being born, when his instincts are no longer so awaken. In some cases after a C-section the doctors keep the mum resting for as long as 24 hours during which baby is fed on formula and only after is brought to breastfeed. In addition, many new mums have little milk the first days and baby wll find easier to have the bottle :o(
I breast fed my 3 kids, but never knew that from the moment they were born that they could wiggle and find the breast themselves! (on the odd side she sure has ugly nips)
and her nipples have nothing to do with your line of vision or your opinion. her nipples are totally normal, and if you look at the boobs out there in the world (no, not on tv), you will see that most nipples are not perfectly round, or small, or pencil-eraser sized, or perfectly colored. but they do the job well that they were intended to do. in baby's eyes, mommy's nipples are glorious and beautiful (and in husband's eyes). this is what matters.
I dont understand the language you are speaking in. Why dont you just give the breast to the baby? why are you letting her search for it herself? I have never seen this before.
I think more of the point is to show that there is an innate nature in us from the MOMENT we are born to nurse from our mothers, not to be given a bottle, and that they don't have to be forced onto the breast, that they actually have the ability to find it themselves, many many years ago this was very important, yes now days mom's are healthier and able to easily bring their child to their breast themselves but it does show the beautiful ways of NATURE.
i'm not a native speaker, but i think they were explaining how putting the baby on mother is some kind of first contact skin to skin, for giving baby security and love, and baby's movements are good for the uterus of the mother. It has benefits for both sides. Baby is not given the breast because this video wanted to show that baby could find it for itself (instinct), without forcing the nipple into its mouth- this fact is important to lot of mothers who have problems breastfeeding
Buen dia a todas las mamas!

i thought it was amazing how the newborn naturally found the breast and no offence to anyone but what was the point of not helping the baby?

@VashsMomba This is a natural instinct and the very reason for establishing a bond with mother and child. search "breast crawl" and visit website.
