  • I'm pretty sure no standard residential sump pump would keep up with that anyway. Maybe 2 or 3 of them might.

    My mom's sump used to run so much it would burn up the switch. The first time I fixed it I made sure to buy an extra switch, which she wanted me to return.

    I told her if she wants me to ever come back and fix it again, I'm keeping an extra switch next to the pump.

  • im going through this right now, its bad but not as bad as you had it. my sump pump quit. i bought a new sump pump and it malfunctioned. today i bought an emergency pump that hooks up to garden hose. i feel your pain. this sucks

  • omg i feel your pain.. we're encountering the same problem right now.. instead of using clothes on the floor we tried to vacuum the water as much as we can.. so far it made a difference! thanks for showing that video

  • we used to have an entranceway like that in the back of my old home in the city lived there for 11 years and I never thought of what could happen if that sewer line ever backed up in the back door concrete stairwell - Ha Stairwell LOL !!!
