this past summer i worked with some so called carpenters from home here in pei, they work mostly in ft mac, they are not carpenters there a joke!! trust me I have been at const since I was 12 with my day, then 8 years in toronto with ellis don then three years with skanska in sweden and I am one hell of a carpenter, there is nothing i can't do and do fast and right, but there letting workers become journey men without knowing dick shit, some are good, but some is the key word.
I've just arrived in fort-mac, and i enjoy it. Good training school, outdoors, most people are nice. People arrive in with negativity and just doesnt want to be part of the community. Drugs problems are everywhere.

Also if it was shut down, think of the jobs lost. This place saved the east coast provinces. Newfoundland would be one giant leach of unemployment if it were not for Fort McMurray. Go vote for the NDP, they know how to take from the rich and give to the non working types. idiot.
