Hey, how do you hook up a real bass pedal to the Ion drum rocker as seen here and on ibiteprettyhardsh's kit?

The green cymbal should be hit on the side as far as I can tell, at least that's the case with a real crash cymbal.

@hlslayer123 yes, I didn't write a script. the review was "on the fly" and basically wanted to show some things about the drum set because I hadn't seen other reviews quite like it.

1. It's wired so no buying or recharging batteries.

2. the pads don't fall of after 2 months of playing.

3.All the notes go through and doesn't drop notes.

So all in all it is godly.

How is the surface of the pads compared to the standard rock and drum set?Are they harder. Do they provide more rebound? Thanks.

@benok7nb Yeah, a bit more rebound. They are pretty good.. one red pad isn't very sensitive, like the other pads are, but I've learned to deal with it. The best thing is they are much more reliable. No more exchanging broken drum sets.

Sure the cymbals aren't so great. But normally cymbals are meant to be whacked! Don't just be all gental, be a real drummer and hit them hard.

I tried out the pedal that came with the kit today and here are my thoughts:

- easy to push down.

- does make a audible clicking noise. I was wearing headphones but otherwise I think I wouldn't have liked the clicking sound.

- doesn't exactly feel like a real bass pedal, but does the job rather nicely. I was able to hit beats pretty quickly.

You can, but expect to pay extra for the midi interface or you could always plug it in and use Rock Band 2's free play and play your own beats. :-)
