  • AVE!!!

  • that's clear he can't and doesn't want to sing this way again though it fits the song better! Growing old is not a good thing with metal type band! When they shifted to the HOST style the voice changed in a good way! Going back to real doom is diificult for Nick

  • Listen to this version and then to the recent live ones. It's sad that Nick doesn't even TRY to sound a bit aggressive. This song needs no clean vocals, as they do not fit, obviously.

Oh and sorry for my dumb comment about ''In Requiem''. I used to love it a lot but it's not that good in my opinion now.

  • I was there !!! During the first song, Nick's mic went down. apparently there was no spare one available, as he just ran around the stage clapping his hands and waving to the crowd until his mic got fixed;) That was a bit of fun, nevertheless the rest of the gig went smooth, as you can see...PL had huge following in Poland back then, there must have been 5000 or so fans going crazy and singing along.

  • this is in poland :P

  • where'd you get this footage?

  • Why did i get thumbs down? :o

  • Why did i get 1 thumb down?

  • Great song, Paradise lost kicks ass!

Okay, they might ''sold out'' after Draconian times, but you can't deny that ''In requiem'' is an good album! it's an good return to their gothic/doom metal.

  • great band, great lyrics...

  • I liked gothic better

  • hmm the last 2 albums are not bad but nothing compared to albums like gothic or icon

  • the only quality albums for me are : Lost Paradise, Gothic, Shades Of God, Icon, Draconian times. the other albums have some nice songs but that's it

  • The two most recent albums are quality

  • There's a lot of ways to "evolve". Not definitely P.L.'s (their 10 last years) way, though.

  • Thanks a lot for this cool and lovely stuff. Pity the... is my PL favourite song... Thanks a lot, PL were great in 1992, Shades of God, Gothic, Lost Paradise, but they are "dead" since 1995 and their "Draconian Times". Paradise Lost were 1989-1994,Godly Death-Doom Sound. Then, they´ve sold out and never more heard by me... Thanks for this!!

  • Thanks a lot, PL were great in 1992, Shades of God, my favourite PL record, and also Gothic, Lost Paradise. But they are "dead" since 1995 and their "Draconian Times". Paradise Lost were 1989-1994,Godly Death-Doom Sound. Then, they´ve sold out and I hear them not very often and always their 3 first records and the 2 e.p.

This is very cool and great stuff, Merci Beaucoup!! Thanks for this!!

  • 15 years passed by. PL still rocks. Hope will see Paradise Lost on Metalmania 2007.
