A woman can always tell by her man's touch if it has love in it or not.......such a beautiful song....I wonder how many women out there no longer feel the love in their man's touch anymore? How about you men out there, still feel love in your woman's touch? Kinda makes you wonder don't it?
Jeanne Seely is one of the greatest country singers ever... Her voice is beautiful. I think she is country music's best kept secret... I love this lady...
Never heard of her - surprising because her voice is so beautiful that she should be a household name like Patsy , Loretta and Dolly . She sounds like Lorrie Morgan or more accurately I should sy Lorrie sounds like Jeannie Seely . Beautiful song !
I Ordered A "CD" From Ms Seely***It Arrived Late, With A Hand Written Note From Her APOLOGISEING That The" Opry" Was Flooded And She Was Behind on HER Business. She Autographed The CD, Sent Us a Picture of Her with Her Little Doggie. SHE NEVER MENTIONED THAT SHE LOST EVERYTHING SHE HAD! HOME, CAR, CLOTHES, EVERYTING!
sometimes in life a song and singer aare joined and we all are so much better from that union and we surely are from this song and her vioce.. thxxxxxxxxx for posting it ,love it soo, if you cant feel this song then rush to the hospital cause your heart is shut down
When did this woman start singing... I don't pay much attention to contemporary country... I really love this song, and her voice. There's a song called When He Leaves You done here by Shania Twain and someone mentioned on that video that that song was done by Jeannie Seely that he/she likes better but YT took it down. Can it be re-posted? thanks
WOW MUSIC LIKE THIS IS JUST GONE BUT THIS SONG BRINGS ME SUCH SWEET MEMORIES. THIS WAS AN ERA WHEN WE COULD JUST ENJOY LIFE, AND MUSIC, MY FIRST LOVE OF MUSIC IS THE OLD HYMNS AND THAT WAS SOMETHING C/W SINGERS USED TO DO A LOT .
One beautiful song from one beautiful "gal." I could listen to her sing song after song. Somehow I don't think she got the full credit for just how talented she really is. Definitely a first class entertainer! Thanks for posting, flashbell.
flashbell, the beauty of this song is only exceeded by the beauty of Jeannie, one of the classiest singers in country music. She has performed for many years but seems to get better and better as time goes by . She is indeed like fine wine - real vintage. Thanks for posting.
It didn't go anywhere......it got rudely thrown in the garbage by some "smart" NY and LA "music producers" who think that this "crappy rock" junk is country. We got ripped!!!!!
I believe that is Buddy Emmons on the Pedal Steel Guitar on this cut of Jeannie . She's a great singer and is grossly under rated singer. She deserved more credit than she ever got. Wonderful voice and a great song writer she's got it all......
What a beautiful, strong & powerful voice! I had heard of her but this is the first time I've heard her sing. Absolutely awesome! THANKS for sharing this delightful "blast from the past" with us....and may you & yours have your HAPPIEST holiday season ever! :)
Now just think about sitting on a bar stool in a honky tonk and this comes on the jukebox. Damn, another shot and Coor' s back. This lady is as good as it gets. She' s there among the top stars of country.
Jeanne went to the top of the charts with a bullit on this song in the 60's she was the first hit that went that fast and it made her a star.Lorrie morgane does a great job on this too. But Jeanne is the best forever, berni
I've loved this song from the time Wilma Burgess recorded it years ago. Wilma had a terrific voice. She never had the looks that Jeannie has but I still think Wilma's version is the best. Jeannie has done well with the Opry and we saw her on stage back in 1983. She sang a song we requested - Sweet Memories - which she did well and is another lovely song. - Thanks for posting - Paula
Wow, thanks for posting this. This has always been a favorite of mine, & I love Jeannie Seely. There is definite soul in the sound that Jeannie puts out. What a stylist, & great singer who still stars on the Grand Ole Opry. AWESOME.

This song may have been written for Jeannie Seely, but Ray Price included it on his "Another Bridge to Burn" album. I love it!

Some artist tend to see the voice go south over time - But Jeannie's just seems to get richer and more powerful.
Great Song!

beautiful songs ever written or recorded by
a country artist. Two thumbs up for Jeannie.
Her singing makes one feel like she is actually going through what she is singing.
