dont you hate when lead singers do a song in concert, and they leave out all the high notes and stuff, and do lazy low singing because they have no talent? zeppelin aint like that
I have never seen this but I already know its going to be good even though it was in france. This was them at their peak in my opinion. They peaked very early and stayed at same level during most of their career. Zep 1 and 2 were the best albums they made.
Plants voIce is so powerful ,the French looked stunned or bored.I can't tell. My God they all tear it up in this one. I agree with the another comment from someone else it sounds like Roberts voice comes in so powerfull and strong the engineer did flip out.Unfortunely by Zeppelins 73' tour the upper register of Roberts voice starts to go.This kids is the best shit ever made hereand there name is ZEPPELIN!!
man, I think Plant must have been tired...such a low energy performance :) J/K. Looks like he is posessed with the spirit of Rock! Band kicks ass as usual.
Page once said in an interview that many times Robert Plants vocals would come in so unexpectedly powerful and loud that the engineer would freak out and quickly smack the fader for the vocal track down. This sounds like one of those instances.

The DVD version of this includes a lot better shots, including those of the audience. I don't see the DVD version on youtube.

Notice at about 3:30, some guys runs out and tries to touch Pages foot. Page just moves it back and the guy walks away defeated lol.

@ZeldaFanFare He is actually moving Page's wah-wah pedal. A bit hard to see because it is blurry.

Incredible footage of the band at its peak--Plant would only have this much power in his upper range for a couple more years after this.

Robert's stagehand screwed up the volume control. Listen to Robert at the beginning. FIRE HIM!
