Excellent - I was not there but had been several times since 1969. Brilliant to see the Imp waving a wheel in the air through North Tower Cresecent. Always loved saloons round there. I went back in May for the sprint meeting. You can still recognise North Tower Cresent but it is much narrower. There are pictures on keithduke.fotopic.net

Vintage! you have provided some real gems here roy. I was at some of these races, as a young boy who grew up in crystal palace. We used to sit on the grass bank on the first bend. We lived so close to the park we could hear and almost smell the cars as they hurtled round the short circuit i think it was only 1.39 miles long and they thrashed it for most of way. Exciting stuff. Anyway thanks for sharing these precious memories..
Thanks for sharing these great films. At 3:10 Paul Butler crashes the Automex mini that my dad - Simon Ridge used to race before he sold it to Paul. My dad also had a pretty nasty accident at the Palace involving his mini and a tree, which he was lucky to survive. If you have any other film from either Crystal Palace or Brands with my dad we'd love to see it! Thanks again.
Tony Trimmer,Jochen Mass,Brian Henton,Mike Walker,Mike Wilds, how many champions down there at the Crystal! Check how the Minis lift off the interior rear wheel, while Sunbeam/Hillmann Imp lift off the interior front wheel.English racing technicians and drivers where a real school to follow in any their styles. If only i had started to race in GB rather than Italy! Who was the owner of the yellow Mustang mach1 in the parking area? Thanks, Roy, to let us learn all is in this movie, both parts 1 and 2
John Tomlin/Keith Ripp in car No 219 at 1.35 - Fantastic!! John's a bit larger now!

I was at this meeting. It is surprising to see such a small crowd in attendance considering this was the penultimate Palace meeting ever.
