the one thing that I didn't understand when I saw the show was, why is her hair short? Wednesday Addams always has her hair braided. But other wise I love her she's the best Wednesday in the musical and the song is awesome.

Personally, I think that Kyrsta OWNS this role. I actually saw Rachel Potter live, and don't get me wrong, I think she has a phenomenal voice, but it was a little too Glinda(which she played). I know that Wednesday is supposed to be changing, but I think Kyrsta's voice, as well as her entirely delivery is much more true to the character. She plays the role as Macabre Wednesday confused and being 'pulled in a new direction'. It's just perfect. :)

@khalifisrandom I think they are both fantastic at different characters. While, yes they both play Wednesday, they are completely different. Krysta's Wednesday was INSANE! but she cared for her family, and for Lucas. Rachel's is just quirky, she's the oddball. But, they both do their job insanely well. The Addam's are very dynamic, and can be many things, which is why I think they are so popular.

She doesn't want to even consider it, but Lucas changes her mind. Hell, that 'normal' stuff irritates her, but he's... pulled her in a new direction.

The braids were originally for the Chicago version when the had the song "Clandango" which was the Addams Family singing to Wednesday about becoming a woman...and in that song they cut off her braids as a symbol of her growing up. I saw Krysta on Broadway and they cut "Clandango" and she did not have braids. This might be the Chicago version! :)

Since when did she have braids? When I saw it, she had that short chin-length haircut (a couple of weeks ago, I think). It look really cute on her; much better than the braids in my opinion.

@JoTheAnomaly - I'd say it's the other way 'round: she looks creepy *because* she's playing Wednesday Addams. If you watch some of her other (non-Addams) videos on Youtube, you'll see that she's got a perfectly normal face; it's the makeup (and expressions) that make it seem creepy.
