Man, World of Warcraft has sucked away my time from any and all other projects I've been working on... I have no idea when or if I'll ever finish this. If I ever declare to myself that this project is dead, I'll release the unfinished project for someone else to work on or steal ideas from.
The menu is so beautiful, i wish i can do it so nice, but im realy bad in this. The attacks, the damage and the life of the enimes, oh man, this is so good. Now i hate my project.

That was kind of the whole point. I've played a couple "ABS" games where the main weapon has a range of one square, and is entirely useless. I wanted the player to be like "Oh great, another one..." - then to have the chakram and magic thrown into their lap and be like "Well that's different."
This game is very nice, I love the custom battle system. my only complaint (which you have probably fixed already) is the sword. the way he just pokes it out seems akward and greatly limits is range to me. give it a swinging motion similar to the SNES Zelda games (to use as a reference). Still, its your game so do what you want but excellent work there, good to see I'm not the only still liking RPG Maker 2000

As for the numbers, it's 18 events on every map. Three for each display (1's, 10's, 100's). When damage is done, the display function is called, which changes the graphic for whichever one's available, sets the timer on it, etc, which is controlled by parallel common events.

If you need any other codes, ask me, I got some for custom skills like "mineworking" and "metalworking". Good luck on your game creation!
Skills like that aren't really "codes" in RM2K, but more KNOWLEDGE of how to do them, and trust me, I know how to do a LOT of common things like that. :-p

As I said in the first video of this game's comments, this is a completely custom made ABS, and there's absolutely no way anyone could really "use" it, as it's just so integrated with the game. It's not something I downloaded and am using. I can't just give it away for others to use with no problems.
Once the game is finished, you're more than welcome to look at the code used, and try to disect it to make it useful elsewhere. But until then, the system only exists on my computer.
i must say that this is one of the most user generated game iv'e seen using the rm2k tool. I like the tutorial pop-up images and the menu system seems to work great. Keep up the good work!
i like the way you have done the storyline, and i think it was pretty cool how you culd cut the ropes with the long range thing like that, nice work, cant wait for it to come out. also, you're going to be posting this game on RI, right?(just want to know incase i get the wrong website)

Start off choosing classes, and then choosing your charset lol level to 99 and fight bosses with others/solo mod (this video)

For the menu and stuff? No, I just used a pre-existing menu set and stretched it out to the dimensions I needed.
As for the sprite edits, it's just frankenspiriting until it looks right.

As I said in the first video of this game's comments, this is a completely custom made ABS, and there's absolutely no way anyone could really "use" it, as it's just so integrated with the game. It's not something I downloaded and am using. I can't just give it away for others to use with no problems.
Once the game is finished, you're more than welcome to look at the code used, and try to disect it to make it useful elsewhere. But until then, the system only exists on my computer.

The way the ropes are cut is just to teach the player that that's what the Chakram is for. The later puzzles are where the meat is. :-D
