This wont be fake, makes me laugh when people say this sort of thing is not allowed therefore this video is fake - Laws are rules for fools but a guidance for wise men. Of course this is not standard Radiotelephony, does that matter? If the air traffic is not busy and it is SAFE to be a bit chatty over the radio, why not?

i'm sorry children...but this audio is factual...I know because I was the Shannon controller talking to the Speedbird pilot. The only people on here that don't think that this kind of thing goes on on a daily basis, are the wannabe's on their computer simulators.

The pilot is told at the beginning to switch to Shannon possibly Shanwick Oceanic control so its probably Gatwick control the recording is of isn't it Easy mistake

Sort of off-topic I know, but isn't it odd how every time a woman controller or pilot makes a mistake people have to bring up that she's a woman, as if that was somehow relevant? Among the countless aviation errors that have led to snafus and even disasters on the part of men, I've never once seen or heard anyone make a snarky comment about the fact that the offender was male.
