Turtle Rock Studios put soooo much more detail into left 4 dead...You can tell because watching videos that were released after Valve acquired them, the level of detail greatly goes downhill, until the release. I would have appreciated the game so much more if it had gotten released in the summer or fall of 2007. Compare the level of detail by watching this video, then going and playing the game...It's ridiculous.

I know that the reloads might be better for when you are playing versus or trying to take down a horde in the released version...but I would choose these older reloading animations over anything that the game released has, hopefully once the SDK comes out, someone will have the know how to create a mod or something.

I wish I could make a mod for Left 4 Dead 2 where you could choose what special infected the Director could spawn, which guns he could spawn, etc. It would be completely customizable.

also the maps have a lot more detail now and much more fitting ... one thing i do agree with is the sounds of the guns need to sound more beasty but i disagree with you saying that the old sounds were better they both sound like toy-guns.

Them reload animations were to slow for such a fast paced game. Two weeks after an infection and all the men have goaties and look like tramps, the models had to be changed. The fog makes the game more like a real world Realistic enviroment. flashlight on surface was a resource hog for low end computers. The smoker would be overpowered with the fast tong and black smoke.their are much more positives then negatives in the newer version and the maps look a lot more post-apocalyptic now.

I like the reload animations a little more, and Zoey's sweatshirt arms are cool, but overall the game looks a lot worse than the final build.

Everybody's saying this version LOOKS a lot better, but I'm willing to bet that if they sat down and played this version for two hours they'd prefer the current one. Early pre-release versions of games always seem better until you actually sit down and play it.

1-This version of the game looks better, check the way the other players light things up when they shoot. Also, the game was lot darker, wich is better.

2-Why did they remove the reloading anymations?

3-The smoker kicks ass is this video. His smoke is REALLY dark and he pulls a lot faster.

there are 4 "campaigns", each 4 maps.

then there is verses mode, and in coop the AI director changes things up abit so old campaigns, don't get old lol. Still hoping for some new maps soon tho

I think this version of L4D was better. I mean, the HUD was telling more and it just looked better, the weapon sounds REALLY fit much better, and the weapons cocking was just awesome. Even if the footstep sounds had to be from CS, I would play it xD Now for some reason I don't hear the footstep sounds at all. I'm really disappointed Valve had to just fuck all that up. Why not keep the old ones? Why you just trash your months of work on the old L4D and make new shitty one?

you can vote to boot him, vote to change level, difficulty or restart. and yes there are rambo idiots but i just played it in expert mode with 3 other guys and after a while you realize u can only win with teamwork or strategy. BTW this game made me scared, not of the zombies but just cause it was so hard and u didnt want to lose, and well yeah kinda because of the zomibes. this game rocks, at least the demo if it does.
