@inspectertaz Grim Hunt, unlocked later, gives you at least one gem when you wax the final polyp in it. Have to catch it though, like you would grab a weapon. from midair.
@inspectertaz For what? Grim Hunt? I actually go into that, er, I PLAN to go into that. I have the video footage sitting on my HDD. Just need to splice it up and add some commentary.
@Greenjay437 I have a computer that can run it at max setting. It doesn't sound like much, but EVERYTHING in this game is a physics object, and with the effects, it can slow down really badly if you don't turn things down. That and, as a rule, look up your mouse DPI on google. Like, "make model DPI" and then when you find that number, set it manually in your settings to as close to half as you can. Go a tiny bit high if not exact.
@Notere lets plays have commentary always if it deos not then its not a lets play call it something else like walkthrough or playthrough or make u p ur own thing
@Notere yes they do thats why they are called that u could ask any real lets player it pissis people off when they look for a certain thing and some one claims to have it just to find out after going off track it was just a bunch of bullshit that a dude who thought he knew all about but didint wasted there time
@LeechintheSky Oh. Yeah. At that stage, without armor or a decent weapon, your first priority is watching not what's in front of you, but what's behind you. Keep planning your next retreat. Even the dink enemies are dangerous simply because you aren't protected. Get whatever swings in you can and run.
How do you keep it from doing those dark popping explosions that keep you from moving. I love this game, but it seems like every five seconds I can't move because the... "Ship" is doing these small explosions for a long time before I can move again. I don't see it happening for you at all.
@lizardizzle I'm pretty sure those dark pops are from the different enemy ship models discussed later in the video series. They're the only explosions I can think of. And, well, they do what you describe. Also: I should continue this.
@Notere No, I guess I'm not explaining properly. Even when I'm in the shop area, I've counted the time it takes to be able to move freely to the time I can't move and my ship starts popping. Just spin in a smooth circle continuously in the shop and in 10-12 seconds your ship will start popping smoke and you'll be unable to move, keep moving the mouse in the same way you were when you were spinning before and within 10-12 seconds again, I can move again, then count 10-12, and the ship pops.
is there a way to get gems? all i found is one gem..

Must say, you are impressive at this game. Still can't get past Ave Shecem. Any tips for a new guy like me?

@LeechintheSky Which chapter is that? Since, well, I tend to not pay attention to them because they're all bloody moonspeak.

@Notere Chapter 1, the first thing you do in the second video of the series

@lizardizzle Now THAT is bizarre. Can't say I've ever had that happen.
