I dont know about u guys, but according to local shops around me, mimeoplasm was the hottest commandr deck of the five, and this graveborne boosted my mimeo deck a ton. Coincidence, i think not!

Ur definitely right about the opening packs part, which also complicates modern as well. Its rly silly that modern caused a lot of edh cardsto jump up ie filters being like $9 when they were $3 before modern. The new planechase marries old planechase and commander, cuz the thing that got me interested was that new general neways.

@mtg4noobs Yes I heard about that last week, I'm curious to see the deck lists. I was mainly wondering what prompted WOTC to do that. I get the impression the original decks were being used as a starting point/resource for commander builds and I wonder if the increased sales due to this is what prompted them to issue new product. Must be tricky for them when a format is not so relient on people cracking fresh boosters. What's your thoughts?

Great video, and commentary during the video. I've just made my first youtube video and i find it hard to talk on camara, you seem to do it with no problem. I like this deck, i'm probably going to pick one up to help me with my new commander deck i'm working on. Do you think these cards will hold value? Or should i wait and hope this deck get's cheaper in the next couple months?

@afromime It is quite difficult to tell with these decks. I remember that I held out with the Slivers one and the price on that went down to around $15 dollars at one point. So, I picked one up. Next time I checked (after Commander was released) it had shot back up to over it's original sales price. The problem with this particular one is that so many people are cracking it just for the singles, particularly the Entombs.

@afromime Re the talking on camera, never had any problem, lol. Actually, I have had to deliver loads of presentations/group training over the years in different jobs so had plenty of practice

@noptic That got reprinted for the Archenemy, Bring About The Undead Apocalypse, deck. I only found out, because I was doing some pre-unboxing research to find out other pre-cons which had graveyard based stuff in them.

I saw Buried Alive and sighed, and said out loud, "I swear if I see fucking Entomb has been reprinted." Few cards later, Entomb. One of the most insanely broken and powerful cards ever printed. And this has been printed again fairly recently.

WOTC are more after money now than caring about the actual game itself. And that breaks my heart.

Although a bit late, I loved the video. I decided not to pick up this deck because I'm trying to focus my money into standard, and this is quite obviously a legacy staple.

@JsbJsbJsbmager I had planned to get this the day it came out and shoot it that day. Unfortunately, places I checked locally, didn't have it (sold out or delay in the delivery) or were charging a heavy markup because of the contents. Interesting you make the point about legacy, as one of the stores I visited had someone buy several so they could have a playset of Entombs for the legacy deck they wanted to play in that evenings FNM.
