  • I can see the sadness and sorrow in these elder eyes and feel their heart.... Wish, somebody can help them. God bless them all.....

  • The term "Hmong" is pronounced, "Shimon" in the Hebrew language. Hmong is a Lost Tribe of Israel, descendent of Simeon, one of 12 sons of Jacob, son of Abraham. Originally, Hmong is from Israel, not Mongolia nor China. If you look at it closely, the Jewish s original term for God is, "Yeshua" (Ya-shua) & in our language is, "Yawm Sauj" (Yer-shou). Two syllables, monotone dialect. Please read the Bible to find out more ..

WE NEED TO COME SEEK OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST & REPENT OUR SINS & BURDENS!

  • @InsearchofHmong No, Hmong need to seek knowledge and and repent ignorance! God (or goddess) is irrelevant when you have no food, no education, and no money.

  • The part whe grandma start crying I just couldn't watch it no more I turned off

  • Remember that you need to help yourself. Hmong people have stop relying on themselves ever since the Americans came to Laos. Listen to Mojthem and stop depending on others.

  • Those Hmong in the video of the Hmong in the jungle are actually alive in Laos camp. They were fake by Vang pao cult.

  • I'm going to Laos next month - u could donate to me - I think I'll do a better job than some non- Hmong I want to show the horror and devastation that the American government and it's political agenda have tormented our race. The world needs to see this so they could help- not the US of A. Their chance was over when they ran from the war they started - cowards!!!!

  • the tranlater suck. you can't translate right don't try

  • hmoob hlub hmoob you guys ! GVP

  • BUT OMG HE WAS SERIOUSLY HER BROTHER! OMG gosh thats so sad. sigh.. we hmong go thru so much

  • grandma so sad, yet funny hahah but really sad... >.<

  • hey anyone know a place to petition to these people or donate?

  • its pronounced mong

  • this is heartbreaking

  • i feel so sad for you Hmongstar2000 and all of my Hmong people too:[

  • aw how sad for her while she see her brother in the computer

  • R.I.P. Grandma <3

  • This is my mom..... she passed away January 6th, 2010. Love you mom......... will keep this video for thousands of years......

  • @hmongstar2000 really so this lady in the video is your hmong..wow..that's sad that she passed away and hasn't get reunited with her brother who she left behind in the jungles.anyway, i was wondering..how come ur mom is here and her brother is left behind? shouldn't they come together??

  • @msgoodiegoodie

Yes, she is my mom. No they have not united yet. She left behind was her only brother. Their parents passed away when they were 5 or 6. Left them with the cousin. They grew up together, cared for each other for 70 years until January 2010. Their hope of reunited was lost forever. What left behind is sadness and tears. Her brother still in the jungle of which cannot come to the city. He will be executed if he show up in the city. Thanks

  • Assjrfhijg

  • Thanks for the vid.

  • Let do another assembly relly to the capital so our voice can be heard not in here.

  • wtf is wrong with all you people!!! it doesn't matter if he pronounced the word HMONG wrong!!! atleast he had courage to show to the world how our hmong people were left behind!!! and the chao fa people are dead people?? wtf!!!! its not like our fathers weren't in the war!!! we need to take action here in america or anywhere and help them out!!! just because we're the lucky ones doesn't mean shit!!!! we could've still been out there in the jungles with them!!!!

  • All that I can do is to pray to God Almighty. God can do anything both possible and impossible. He liberated Israeal from Egypt long ago and I pray that may God liberate my fellow brothers and sister back in Laos from those Crazy Laosian BASTARDS!

  • @jy0485 God has no power, only people do. God can do nothing but you can. Get off your knees, stop wasting breath and time on useless prayers and make your voice be heard, loud and clear. There are over 100,000 adult hmong people in the United States, their collective voice could make a difference. Make yourself a leader.

  • @HmongsideVang8 Any Hmong I ever asked what they were pronounced it Mong. So that's how i say it.

  • STILL NOT AN ENDING. WHAT HAPPENED TO THE LETTER TO THE UN? THE FOOD? Damn this pathetic "news" HELP THEM!!!!

  • I appreciate this white dude doing a documentary on the Hmong, BUT somebody SLAP him in the face For not Pronouncing HMONG Correctly the whole entire time.

  • it doesn't matter did what back then, the war is over, these people are helpless and just trying to survive, what purpose other then acts of hatred and evil for the Loas goverment and their soldeirs to still be hunting them down and killing them, including children and women. You have to be pretty heartless and evil to do such to these helpless people.

  • My fellow Americans we have another "War" Yet we still have to fight. And that is Laos, and Vietnam still today. We are too worried about North Korea and Iran. We should worry more about the little things first and then the big things last.

  • Do the world a favor please...keep yourselves in United States...THE REST OF THE WORLD DONT WANT YOU, WE DONT NEED YOU, YOU ALREADY KILLED MANY PEOPLE IN SOUTH AND CENTER AMERICA AND VIETNAM...as times goes on, the world is realising that United States was, is and it will be mankind´s cancer...

  • We had no choice but to kill for survival in the mountains south of China. And down by the Yellow river. And we had no choice but to kick Vietnam's ass and help the Americans back in the late 1960's and early 1970's. So what WE KILL TO SAVE OTHERS ASSES BUT YET WE GET TREATED LIKE SHIT!

  • 1.- America is a continent, from Canada to Argentina, i am Mexican, so i am american...United States is not AMERICA.

2.-People from United States have to mind their own bussiness, have you asked whate they did with their ethnic minorities?...They killed almost 60 million indians when they arrived to the continent...Do you believe in them?

  • No really???

  • @jy0485 i agree..people are so cruel..damn those red laos..they fucken got no hearts..they're fucken animals!! i hope all of those fuckers..are damned in hell..

  • Do the world a favor, keep youselves inside United States, you already killed thousands in south and center america, middle east and vietnam, dont you realise United States is nothing but mankind´s cancer?

  • save our people UN! SAVE OUR PEOLE!!! IF NOT THEN LET US DO IT, WE ARE NOT AFRIED TO DIE FOR OUR MAN.! WE HAD HELPED YOU ON EVERYTHING AND THIS IS WAT YOU DO BACK. i lost my grandpa and alot of my uncle brother and sister back there and it's cuz of you CIA man. it's all your fault we are being killed! it's all you CIA man's Fault!!!!

  • why did the chao fa choose to be chao fa. now its hard for me to see them get freedom no matter how many attempts we try to fight for their freedom.

  • man my uncle is the leader of hmong and i thought he brought all the hmong people to america to live a new life well geuss he didnt do all his duty.

  • Where Wang Pao . who bring them to be CIA why you leave them there .who should

    respone them

  • Comment removed

  • OMG SO SUPER SAD<<< MAKES ME WANNA CRY!

  • As america used the hmong for helping them they should return the help.

  • oh so this is why the lords going to return.....

  • then you go get them some damn condoms...!!!

  • Get off your high horse, you self-satisfied, callous man.

  • well thats a load of bs. let me argue with you. people purpose in life is to reproduce. it in our nature we just do and it isnt evil. And as for the CIA, well if the hmongs hadnt committed to war and they were not armed then they would not suffer this fate. the reason they are hunted is becuz they are viewed as traitors.

  • then let me ask you this how are we viewed as traitors. do you have evidence to back it up. we never faught for communist side. but for our freedom from which the americans had promised us. if we didn't sacrifice our lives during vietnam war the US would have never made it out there alive. And what you just want our fellow hmong to die in the jungle. WHO PLAYED THE BIGGEST ROLE IN VIETNAM! WHO HELPED FIND THE HO CHI MINH TRAIL IN VIETNAM! WHO GUARDED THE ARTILLARY IN VIETNAM! HMONG.

  • man you read my msg wrong. i said the NVA

  • K i did but in your statement you never listed the nva.

  • man sounds like you disagree with me. let me say this again so you understand. the NVA view the hmong ppl as traitors of southeast asia becuz we allow and sided with the americans to stop communism. Im sure the hmong people did their part in the vietnam war but im simply saying the chao fa people are dead people running around in the jungle. no one can save them and no one will go save them. they are doomed...understand me now.

  • i know they are doomed and there is nothing we can do about it

  • We should have crushed the communists when we had the chance. This is the result when you fight "police actions" instead of real wars(WW1, WW2).

  • omg! bout to make me cry here.

    IT's true then...

god bless our hmong over there...

just want to give a sign, if you can,

    god...that someone in USA recognizes

    him...

    God will judge.

  • if this isn't evidence enough, there is no god. i'm sorry to have to break this to you, but your pretend spirit is a hoax created by humanity to control your thoughts, to gather your money, and to aid others in living a good life.

  • you really don't have a clue what hmong culture really is

  • what does whatever that is have to do with imaginary friends with magical powers?

  • omg! she finally saw her brother! OMG!!! *cries*

    THANKS!!!

  • the sad truth, the world will never help our hmong peaple, along with other groups throughout the world in the same condition.

  • I agree. The world is becoming brutal to most of the people these days.......

  • The sad truth is the world has always been brutal, people are only just starting to realise it.

  • omg... i'm crying..

  • yes hmong should love hmong.......so UN how can u see some people who got kill by no reason.........n if those people were relate to u ........what would u feel.........?

  • Search YouTube video :

THE SHAMEFUL TRUTH HOW LAOS TREATS REPATRIATED REFUGEES

Imagine if your mother, sister, aunt, or best friend was repeatedly raped and beaten like the girls in this video. Then how many people will start to care more and help the ones who are suffering?

    Please search YouTube video :

THE SHAMEFUL TRUTH HOW LAOS TREATS REPATRIATED REFUGEES

  • this is my mother, so listen to her cry and my cry. We are Hmong and we should help each other, in the United State and throughout the world. We are hmong.

  • wow cool I knoe how u feel hey but do you still hear anything so far about this people..

  • I don't know but i just hear stuff. They been quiet.

  • So, Alan, with all respect, you blamed the Hmong Americans for this matter. I wonder how you be 33 and living in the states. Didn't you fled across the Pacific just like all the refugees from Laos did? Didn't your parent fought along side with the US and the Royal Lao Kingdom to defend and keep the land safe and free. Unless you are one of those who migrated over as a wannabe refugee or an LPDR's educator afterward. That doesn't matter. The main point is, Why blame the Hmong Americans?

  • Have you not realized that those who trapped in the jungles of Laos are not just only Hmong, but rather to be many other ethnios along with the Hmong who did once fought alongside with your Royal Lao as for the same honor and pride as your King of Laos requested. LOOK! Now, I only see that the word 'Hmong' is being labeled as terrorist or the only group who acts in your so-called terror. Why not look for facts before stating? Hmong have always been defenders from the past to the present.

  • If you think that the bomb that killed your aunt was Hmong, you may want to check your facts. It may be your own corrupted gov't who are against themselves and did it for a pay back. Probably he lost his job. Anyways, Hmong are not that dumb. Look at all the suffering they endured. LPDR need to open up the door to see their reality before start assuming and accusing. Hmong JaoFah will always remain and be the true heros to many and the rest of the Laos refugee, at least, to the Hmongs, not you!

  • why would hmong ppl attack laotians? what would they have to gain for it? they have no reason to attack? the hmongs have never had a reason to attack. they are running, running.. check your facts before you say anything. they arent attacking anyone. thats what the laotian government wants to paint a picture of Hmong ppl so they can give an excuse for killing them. I pray for your soul and your aunt.

  • If there is any violent acts committed by the Hmong people it's in self defense. They dont have the luxury to go around attacking people. Their main focus is to survive.

  • American Hmong? Please, you think we trying to terrorize? We're here thinking of ways to get the hmong over here. We're here listening to all the pain they suffered. They're massacring the hmong, and we have to do something about it. And you think we're terrorizing? Terrorize: make somebody very fearful. Know you look at that definition you see the hmong fearing the laos? They also fear death.

And whats this about protecting their people, they rape the hmong women in Laos. How is that protectn

  • oh instead of sitting there and gabbing, why dont american take them all to their country? we cant never feed or treat them luxery like that we're poor country as well you know. we gave them places to live food to eat school in there so they can read, i know we never done enought for these people. only thing we get from these people is complaining and complaining. america pls take them all with you, you made a mess, why we have to sort your problem out, man!

  • this message is for guzzmo74. why should you have to sort our problems out? because you(u.s. gov.)made this mess. some nations came to help but understand you that help the wrong group of people. when you help someone you do it directly. Not give money and aids to its government. What it does is you just made the communist leaders becoming wealthy and happy. in return they can buy more guns and bombs to kill these people. So, do these people have the right to whine? yes! are you helping? No!

  • good for them america, i wonder what american would do for the black people in new orlean?!

  • first of all BLACK were force to be broght here in the US in the first place!!! and no offense but black lived in a weathy country, but they cant never blend in, that is why they lived in such dirty place...DUH they trash the place in the first place...and black shouldnt complains!

  • i hope one day a strong Hmong leader will rise to the top and take revenge on all that betrayed the Hmong. If none of the small % of the world don't wont to help then so be it one day they will see a strong leader. I admired (Hitler)

  • I am a Laotian, this video is very sad and brought tears to my eyes. I am ashame on how people could be so cruel..sad sad sad..

  • hey brother, just wanna respond to your comment. It's not clear but I can assure you that our hmong ancestors are not of Mongols or Tibetan. We were told by our ancestors that the hmong reside in China before and during the dynasty era. The Hmong was always at war with the invading Mongols and Hans. after many generations of war, the hmong was pushed down what is now South East Asia. just wanna clear that out. don't want anyone thinking that the hmong are decendants of Mongols. thanx..

  • Who is the criminal war who is responsible for this

  • my mom die by the hands of pathetic laos and vietcons in the jungles. but america is a place where the weak can rise up, some day, me and my mongs will make laos into a powerhouse and drive those commies back to vietnam. then we will cleans laos of all lowland loas for doing this to us highlanders. are we not lay oceans too. laos is our birth place? no layoceans should be doing this to one another, there well be a payback someday in this life or the next.

  • "We will be a Secret no more."

  • watching this vid, make my eyes fill with the salty water of the ocean,

pouring down like the heavy rain in the jungle, over my soft skin

i don't know when these rain of mine will stop, maybe when i know my hmong people are at peace...

  • speechless....tears in my eye watching this video...i came here at age nine....and i can relate exactly how these people feel....hopelessness...waiting for nothing but death...soon to come...im so bless and thank god...im here...typing this message...mulan

  • some cia hmong were helped to get to the usa - wish he said how and who supports them...usa government? like so many docs this seems like just another one that plays on viewers emotions without presenting a balanced and accurate case. what i dont like is that if you have not been to a place and/or know little to nothing about the situation, any doc that looks half serious can not only be totally convincing but very be very upsetting to somne- if thats you, do some proper research before crying.

  • We do appreciate and thank you the U.S. for opening arms and hearts to take so many Hmong in. However, U.S or God blessed us, we will turn around blessing those unfortunate and felt behind and suffered in the hands of Lao PDR.

  • Kid, You need to do more research on this topic before posting your stupid comments. You base your comments on your emotions and not facts. Get some education, Boy.

  • run for your lives!!! now the red lao know who you are and where you are.

  • This series is one of the saddest stories I have ever seen.

  • thank you for uploading this video..aww..cas yuav mus tu siab ua luaj..yuav ua li cas thiav li yuav pab tau?

  • OMG! That's my grandma!

  • Aljazeera & Mr. Tony Birthley, Thank you for this video, I feel soo sad and soo helpless. I really want to help but I dont know where to start. How can I help to push for a rescue?

  • Thank for sharing this wonderful vid. I hope a brighter future ahead for these Hmong. I have many relatives who died during the Vietnam War. I'm glad my parents made it safely to the United States. Their horrific story of escaping to Thailand is fell with sorrow and pains.

  • Thank you Tony Birtley and Al Jazeera! This is an excellent documentary of the Hmong and their struggle in Laos.

  • We can all sit here in shock at such terrible circumstances but those living in democratic countries can do something - email your government's foreign affairs department and demand action. After all you voted for them and you pay for them through your taxes so make them work for you!

  • Aljazeera & Mr. Tony Birthley, Thank you so much for these wonderful video clips. We're glad that there are great and open heart people like you still exist in this beautiful world of hardship. We hope that with all this, it'll open up many people's heart to see their crisis & pain. My heart & prayers goes out to those who's left behind. May God bless them all & the world with peace if there is really a God out there. We should stop all hatred & war & learn from the past. May God bless you all.

  • How Sad :( I came to America as a Bosnian Refugee from the Bloody Genocide that was Occuring in Yugoslavia. I feel her pain as I too have many relatives still in Bosnia.

Humanity should not have to suffer in this day in age like this. People should be able to live harmoniously.

The ones to blame are politicians who devide people up for their own political gain. Shamefull!! :(

  • I've heard of your people's struggle back in the the early to mid 90s. thank you for sharing your story with us all.
