do you realize... you actually will probably want to go on over to "ps3bigskydownload" and now download this game for absolutely cost free. we've played it and it's just a great game. just google "ps3bigskydownload" and mouse click the first link. we wish everyone have fun with it!
I'm disappointed in Sony/London Studio; Take On Me was in the original SingStar on PS2 but they've never done another one of A-ha's songs in any of the recent games.
Yeah that phrase is impossible to FC. There's no way to span that double jump with no transition time. Sony needs some charters who aren't complete retards... :/
Totally. I've learned to make songs for Ultrastar, and I noticed that you absolutely must add spaces between notes, otherwise you will not be able to change from one pitch to another, especially when difference is large, like C to G.
Yeah the charting is often strange in SingStar. Long sustains, and solid notes where there should be chromatics. Also, there's almost no room for error on pitch change timing, so if you're off by even a microsecond you lose points.
Even worse, there's no forgiveness for consonants, so if you aren't humming, you're bound to lose a few points to pronouncing the actual lyrics.
I keep hoping Sony will wake up and make a vocal engine that makes sense, but I've been disappointed thus far.
It is on Hard difficulty. It's incredibly picky about both pitch and timing. You can't hook or trail anything and it's extremely allergic to anything but the lightest vibrato.
When set on Medium, it's a lot more forgiving - about as easy as Rock Band 1's vocals. On Hard, it's about as picky as Guitar Hero World Tour.

You're not the only one. XD Part of what makes SingStar so difficult is that you can't tell exactly how far off pitch you are.

You said retarded. :P I would never play this game even if i just started playing vocals on hard >.> On rock band 2.

I've only played Singstar Pop once, and I played on expert, and yeah, it IS hard. Like the charting is really weird. Idk.
You did great, btw.
