Okay erase may be the wrong word. God didn't erase the old testament, but he erased the old testament law. Jesus came into this world to make a new covenant with man because until him there was a barrier between us and God. That barrier was sin. God wants us to see himself before Jesus time to show us he's always been there. If the bible started with Jesus there would be way more questions and no one would understand anything that comes from the bible.

The thing that gets to me about Joseph is that this could have ruined him. In those days it meant a lot to have a good reputation and a pregnant girl your not married to was a big deal to the people of those days so Joseph was truly brave. Risking his reputation his friends family all for a baby from a girl who could have lied to him. Thank you JESUS

So I asked my mom and she told me the story, but when I typed in Barrita de San Jose (Saint Josheph's staff) into Google I got nothing. It's really bizzare. San Jose is one of my favorite saints, because of he was always obedient to God, yet he always protected him too. The flowers appear a lot in paintings of him, but they're just so mysterious.

I'm very glad to hear there is another song out there that is done from Joseph's perspective. I think too many times he gets left out, and yet God worked through him as well. Of all the humans God chose, I think I admire Joseph the most. For God the Father to choose Joseph to be Jesus' foster father, he had to have been a pretty decent guy.

The song is wonderful. I play it over and over. About time somebody remembered that Mary was chosen, but Joseph chose for himself to be a husband to Mary and a father to Jesus. So much of Christmas is the "Mom and baby" thing, but let's take time to remember the guy "driving" the donkey, too. Joseph was also a key figure in God's plan for our salvation.

I've got great news for you though, he resurrected himself three days later, and through him your sins can be forgiven too! All you need to do is accept him as your Lord. San Jose is one of my favorite saints, because of he was always obedient to God, yet he always protected him too. The flowers appear a lot in paintings of him, but they're just so mysterious.

As once as a child I always wanted presents for Christmas. But now that I am older, presents mean almost nothing when comparing it to the glory of Jesus Christ.
All I want for Christmas is to see the glory of Christ and know of God's great love that was wrapped in a manger.

I'm very glad to hear there is another song out there that is done from Joseph's perspective. I think too many times he gets left out, and yet God worked through him as well. This reminds me of a song done in my church years ago...it was titled "Little Yeshua". Great song and video. Thanks for sharing it.

Of all the humans God chose, I think I admire Joseph the most. For God the Father to choose Joseph to be Jesus' foster father, he had to have been a pretty decent guy.
I named my first born after Joseph for this reason.

@adnilnosnhoj yeah not only that but he had to deal with knowing that this little baby his wife had was not his son and eventually he would have to give him back. Also he knew his son was to die but had no idea when that must have been horrible to live each day knowing his son would be murdered.

The song is wonderful. I play it over and over. About time somebody remembered that Mary was chosen, but Joseph chose for himself to be a husband to Mary and a father to Jesus. So much of Christmas is the "Mom and baby" thing, but let's take time to remember the guy "driving" the donkey, too. Joseph was also a key figure in God's plan for our salvation.

God died and rose again for YOUR sins, and MIne. he rose thats it no man has ever risen from the dead on his own. he came to earth as a human because he was the lamb to the slaughter. how else would he relate to us he he stayed on his throne and not just that how would he have been crucified. there is ONE God and he is eternal. he is the great I am. read Isaiah 53. your right God isn't dead but he died and rose again read the gospel Mathew, mark, luke, john or acts. it tells the entire story.

God is eternal,I totally agree with that but just because you die physically doesn't mean you die spiritually. I've got great news for you though, he resurrected himself three days later, and through him your sins can be forgiven too! All you need to do is accept him as your Lord. I think our biggest difference is I believe the Bible is the word of God and is the only truth.

Actually, he IS physically eternal because he came back to life. If he wasn't eternal, when he died for our sins, he would have stayed that way: dead. Besides, you said A scripture, not THE scripture. The Scripture wouldn't say that.

That's because Jesus is both human AND God. That's why he came back to life. How many people do YOU know who came back to life? There are many instances showing how He is both human and God. For instance, Jesus needs food, yet he has the angels under his command. This can be found when Jesus was tempted by the Devil. Also, anything can be done if God wills it to be so.
