  • I watch this film 22 times in one week. The pure poetry of Roys songs just fill me with many emotions, some so difficult to describe. How I miss those days of seeing him in concert.

  • I never heard this one before, its so sad, and I love Roy Harper so much, ok you know I mean his music gets to me, and makes me cry.

Which is good , cos thats what its all about, feelings, that we try to hide , then Roy, he just pulls on your heartstrings!

Do you agree, or is this me being too emotianal, ( forgive the spelling) i canna see when i cry!

Roy, is just , Roy I guess. How true, feeling, he is the raw emotion of life. Going to see Roy you get frustrated with the audience, with him, but he speaks like a poet. Take others to see him and its comments about his ranting or staying off. But he is just the most precious, rare gift. Miss him touring, its like an emotional loss. No one touches him musically. Sorry to go on, but know what you mean!

  • bullinamingvarse stonehendge is waiting for you roy

  • thanky nickhirst999 but are u missing one chord? ( the one behind the lyric: "that welled from..." dunno, but pls check it...rest is awesome n do you know "song of ages?"

  • You're right! The chord I missed on that bit is another A Major. As for Song of the Ages, I've never worked that one out as he's using harmonics and an open tuning! I'll let you know if I have any luck!

  • thanky for the missing chord!! someone named liteguage has some awesome (tho intricately tuned) royage here on youtube(cherishing the lonesome, song of the ages, and forever...good luck and thanx again

  • thanky this is a rare gem

  • It's Brighton's Palace Pier now known as Brighton Pier. As for the chords: ring finger on 7th fret of "A" string, mid finger on 6th fret of "D" string little finger on 7th fret of "G" string, index on 5th fret of "B" string then A major D majorn and slide the D Major up to 7th fret then A E and B.

    Boring but true!

  • Does anyone know the chord progression to this song? I don't have the best ear and I'm trying to figure it out! It's a great song.
