The biggest dissapointment in idol history. I votted for her 153 times top 16 because she was the one I picked to win. She, like simon said top 24, has the best vocals. I only votted for her 25 times this time. However that said, Tim should have gone home. She at least HAS vocals unlike tim who every night sings like that. She should have been the last girl standing. She was sick but no excuses.

Tim got through because he was a white male. Paige deserved to be in the competition, but got booted because she was a black female and black females always get the short end of the stick. The whites (primarily white females) who vote hate people of color and want every one of them voted off. This show is full of racist whites who deserve to be enslaved.

Her vocals on her final song were awesome. Really quite depressing that the best vocalist in the competition went home, but at least she went out with a bang, She is truly at home with that hard rock soul vibe, throat problems or not. The issues she had were as a result of choosing ill fitting songs that she thought people would like. Hopefully she can get it together and make a career out of singing hard rock. I for one would like to hear her sing again in this style.

why the hell do we need American Idol when every time a contestant wins American Idol, their debut albums are always flopping while the first and second runner up are ALWAYS topping the winner with album sales LOL David Archuleta got more airplay than the winner, David Cook, and sold more albums. Clay Aiken sold more than that lazy Ruben who didn't the win because of his soulful laziness and Adam Lambert made Kris Allen look like a joke last year. and where's ''Mr. Soul Patrol'', Taylor Hicks?

Correctamundo, she indeed sucks.  Not only that, the two at the end; Jonas and Lovato also suck. Their voices are terrible, that Jonas guy I suppose is trying to look sexy, but he succeeds only in looking like a scrawny, immature, dork - and the chick is weak and off-key.
