@michael696925: The editing created the illusion of "being eaten alive" I'm almost certain the giraffe was being "licked" with the prickly tongue before suffocating to death. Not necessarily "eaten"

@AmaneezG Lol giraffes are quite slow and clumsy so the giraffe would know its only chance is the hope to do some damage back kick style, if enough lions get hurt they usually back off, just happened to be a bad day for the giraffe! And a big male lion coming in to help obviously tipped the scales a little in favour of the lions lol
