@loveyoutopgear I'm into music. I'm in it for emotion, not image. I'm talking about band music. in non-vocal versions, of vocal songs, you have to get into the feeling of the instrumental music and not on the (mostly missing) vocal line. That makes for stupid dynamics and the audience hearing there is something missing.

And you WERE talking about lyrics. You were telling Karyn, who is in a BAND, to learn the lyrics. But in a band, it is of no use to learn the lyrics. That's my point.

OMG! that's the exact set and costumes from the production of Miss Saigon I was in with DLOC in the Bay Area. The man playing the Engineer, Frank, was our Engineer as well. He is so talented and it was such a honor to be in a show with him. Our cast had 2 people who had been in the touring production one of which was Dane Stokinger, who had played Chris. It was a show I will never forget being a part of.
