  • I love your video before WB stepped in and ruined. One of my favorite songs from one of my favorite movies. And this video went so perfect with it. Solution: Open 2 browsers, 1 with this vid other with original vid song. play both at same time but mute this videos song. Beautiful once again! :D

  • You can check out my new version on my channel..

  • @oldskoolmacboy WMG have taken it down again

  • I remember this video changing soundtracks several times, once it was to God Moving Over The Face Of The Waters, and then another track that was very very ambient, but I don't remember the name, could somebody let me know if they remember it?

  • what program did you use to create this? beautiful-peace, of work.

  • @ilovewhores I created it in IMovie as a 1 hour project.

  • This is great, though not Moby and definitely not, God Moving Over the Face of the Waters. =) Very good though!

  • @LeiKaEr Originally it had God moving over the face of the waters as the soundtrack but WMG made me take it down.

  • @oldskoolmacboy Thats a shame! I'd have loved to see the original. =D

  • Divino!

  • You should re-upload this and credit the song/artist/record label

That's all they usually bug people about lol.

  • so fucking deeply peaceful ! Thank you.

  • @ComicScrip Your welcome

  • oldskoolmacboy- fantastic creation! great choice of clips. who is the artist of the instrumental? Gershwin?

  • @joaquinpereafilms It's Clair de Lune by Debussy

  • Beautiful video. I'm sorry about what happen with your original version. The same thing happen to me with the same song. I made a video set to the same Moby song and they blocked it just like yours. Now two more of mine may be blocked. I may have to take your example and repost it. Sympathy aside, you've got a good repost with DeBussy.

  • mmm clare de lune is a beautiful song!

  • To truly experience this, you must listen to God Moving Over the Face of the Waters on iTunes, Zune, or mp3 and watch the video. Then one can enjoy this piece of art. On a side note, Moby's Alone goes good with the ending, starting around 5:30

  • this video is beautiful, the songs are beautiful...i like..

  • Cette musique est empreinte d'éternité

  • I am brought to tears, how beautiful. Credit or no credit oldskoolmacboy, you sure touched alot of people with this beautiful piece of art work. thank you. I fully enjoyed.

  • @boxerpup7 thank you

  • Truly beautiful

  • Kifstranamious

  • companies saw it coming but didnt work out a solution or a method of overcoming it. No sympathy. Sympathy however to artists eh

  • This is the same video i found when i finally found that song and you had to change it cause they fucked with you? soo not cool>:| not as enjoyable without the moby but i still like the video ^ ^

  • Dont the pigs allow you to acknowledge the music is not yours and then still let you keep your music on the vid?

  • nope

  • Warner Music Group should go suck a d--k. I am so sick of everything on this site being tampered with and removed by the copyright gestapo.

You made a perfectly legit art project using a piece of music and posted it here for others to enjoy.

Fuck them for wanting to control every penny regarding their precious legal ties to the music. Eventually every good artist will migrate away from them onto other labels.

    Sooner than later, I hope.

You did a great job, man. Sorry that happened to you.

  • The music industry have had it easy for years. they have been raking in cash from over priced CD's. Now the internet has flipped everything on it's head. They should embrace things like Youtube instead of censoring it. The video was a tribute and in some small way I probably made people more aware of this song and increased sales a little. I will never buy anything with WMG on it ever again.

  • I hear that. It's a shame because these artists are so desperate in the beginning for a contract that they really don't understand what it is that they're getting into.

Now you understand why Ani DiFranco started her own label. She was like, "F--k that."

    LOL

  • @XavierDigital You said it man

    Rock on, fuck wmg

  • I just put your video on mute and play moby over the top. seems to work! haha good vid mate

  • Distraught that they removed the original music, Was perfect for this video. Still, I was lucky to have seen it in it's original form.

You should try posting again and hope wmg dont find out for a while.

  • thank you sooooo much for putting this video back. i swear i was like heart broken when you had to take it off. this made my day =)

  • Whats the song? It's fantastic!

  • Claire de Lune by Debussy

  • this is beautiful. i'm a writer working on a creation story right now for the beginning of my book, and this is inspiring me. thank you.

  • You know what I'm doing right now? I'm playing God Moving Over the Face of the Waters on iTunes and I set your video on mute :D

I can still enjoy it that way.

  • Im glad you still get to enjoy it.

  • Comment removed

  • Unfortunately I don't have the video anymore. Forgot to back it up. By the way I didn't remove your comment I guess that was Youtube.

  • DAMNIT This VIDEO was perfect for this song... and now its all messed up :(

  • CUNTS

  • i didn't expect this video to be so popular and your comments have been great. I gave myself an hour to make a Youtube video. You have inspired me to create some more so stay tuned.

  • Dude, just put Moby's song back up and keep the title/artist out of any descriptions. I've counted at least 6 other similar videos with his song on over the vid and they haven't been hassled.

  • There's a Wezzy song that sampled extracts of this song !!!!! "I'm me" it's the name of that song

  • its not as good but htis song isnt bad tho..

  • WMG can go suck it, bastards.

    Nice video by the way.

  • Nevermind...just read the info. My apologies.

  • Is this all your footage?

  • great song: what is is?!

  • Okay why the hell did you get rid of the moby song....it was the greatest thing I've ever seen on youtube and now it's gone. Whenever I was in a bad mood I would watch this and instantly feel better. You pulled a huge Indiana Jones and destroyed something amazing

As a huge fan of what you've created please change it back

  • Unfortunately you have the Warner Music Group to thank for taking it down. There was a copyright issue with the music. It's a shame and really I appreciate all the good feedback. I was made because of my love for the song. it's just a shame WMG felt the need to pull it down. The irony is I probably helped sell copies of the song. WMG could have just left it alone I guess. But if you guys want it back you could send a complaint to WMG or youtube, just a thought.

  • which song are you talking about?? I want to know!!!!

    I've been a Moby's fan since I was 14 :) now I'm 22.

    HE IS MUSIC!1

  • God moving over the face of the waters

  • A hundred years from now Moby will be talked about in the same way that people recall the likes of Mozart and Beethoven... He doesn't simply write music, he paints masterpieces and for me this is his most beautiful creation to date. And the video you have created just fits so perfectly....ABSOLUTELY STUNNING JOB.

  • i agree

  • SUPERBE CETTE MUSIQUE

  • I was waiting today for the bus, hearing this song and looking to the cluds and was thinking..."It would be great to make a time lapse video with this song" ... great job man, really... a piece of art.

    *****

    EK

  • Truly amazing. The music and the video go perfectly together, and the visuals are simply stunning. Moby is awesome too, and that certainly doesn't hurt. Excellent job.

  • Wales?

  • Scotland but it does look like Wales

  • But I saw our suspension bridge...

  • this is the song god is gonna play when he is coming back

  • GOOSE BUMPS!!!!!

  • You guys should also watch a movie called The Insider.

  • HEAT!!!!Epic movie

  • i think its unbelievable how a song can touch the soul like this. a testament to the greatness of the song.

  • Exudes beautiful melancholy...for people who love this listen to

    (( Behemoth's )) melancholic

    "Hell Dwells On Ice"

this song is very very sorrowfull and painful yet strangly uplifting at the same time..

    the garden of my soul...

  • Im ME!

  • Is this by Moby, the techno musician, or a different Moby?

  • yes

  • To which one?

  • Techno moby. He didn't just do techno though. He sampled loads of old black music delta belt (the area in america around the mississipi river where all the africans were taken as slaves and eventually freed)blues and gospel and made dance tracks with the samples. Its Dance but I wouldn't describe it as Techno, sorry to be so a pedantic.

  • I think I get it now.

  • ur talking about the album play yes? and the copycat one afterwards. certainly he has a broad spectrum of talents, if you listen to his repertoire he's done pure techno, as well as all out rock, on the album 'animal rights'.

  • Sounds simple but just stunning. Takes me to the ending of the movie "Heat" great music, great movie.

  • beautifully done. great song selection.

  • very well done!

  • How beautiful is the world, and how the foolish human life style do not let us enjoy it...

When was the last time did you see a sunrise?

  • this morning because i didn't get to sleep until 6:30am

  • Truer words have never been spoken. I can't think of the last time.

    You've inspired me.

  • Commit suicide!! Ha, brilliant! Even better if you born to it..

  • An incredible instrumental and a great video. Thanks.

  • WoW That The best vid Ive seen on youtube yet,And ive seen ALOT. This is the reason why there should be a 6 cuz 5 star just don't do it for a masterpiece like this.

  • so beautiful. i get teary- eyed every time i see this video! whenever i need to be reminded i come back to this. thank you for putting it together! =D

  • my heart's music...

  • Found it fitting for the end of heat, and perfect for an early morning after a late night. Just right, I appreciate it.

  • this song is beautiful

when i'm listening to it i think of realy good stuff what i've done through my life and friends family, wondering were ther are and what there doing, and my girlfriend,And how the world is a lovely place and were so lucky to be here,Think its great how a song can touch you like that

    THANKS MOBY

  • wow what a video and song could be one of the best ive seen on youtube. nice work

  • Good work OldSkoolMacBoy. I like your style.

  • Just realised the video is great too! Nice work.

  • This song is Chief of all songs.

  • The song im me by lil wayne sounds exactly like this

  • i know right

  • it is dey sampled it from this song but changed up a little but it reminds me more of the ending in the movie "heat" great movie

  • You just captured the substance of the world: Wittgenstein will be very proud, and with him, Moby himself, I think. I work in that propouse too. Let me extend to you an invitation to my site here: you'll find similar things that I've made: They're called "Epojé" ("judgement suspention" for the ancient skeptical school of Greece).

    Peace and good luck.

  • this is the definition of a powerful and meaningful song !

  • 1000 Degrees!!

  • Told you i was never going back!!

  • Can you Up the video on a FTP.

I want this video in HQ.

Thank's you and Great work! ;)

  • I think that when everything moves fast in this video, it signifies how short life really is and we need to stop worrying about stupid shit and focus on what is important in life...family etc. don't take the important thinks for granted....jus my opinion

  • ultimate perfection

  • I'm having this played at my funeral.

  • Very nicely done oldskool! The group Mogwai has a piece called Auto Rock, (another instrumental piece), which is put to the ending of the 2006 movie "Miami Vice". Another moving moment, as in "Heat", and ironically they are both Michael Mann films.

  • This song is amazing, no, it is legendary, I have never heard a piece as good, in my life, Ok, yes Lux Aeterna is good, extremely good but This beats it. I love the movie that goes with this aswell,(The Time lapse)but I think it compliments the ending of the movie Heat Also.

    Great compilation man.

  • extremely well made and yer moby is amazing :D Good job ;D

  • Times like these, a song such as this, becomes very helpful.

  • Thank you for all your lovely comments but I can't take all the credit. It's Moby who deserves the praise for making such a powerful piece of music.

  • extrordinary.......

  • Stunning, absolutely stunning

  • This song is so beautiful...

    It's haunting, yet peaceful.

  • Una de las canciones más hermosas que he oido jamás. Grande Moby.

  • Fantastic, Heat ending scene theme. Perfect. Goose bumps...

  • this is such a moving song and i love it, i could listen to it over and over again, nice pictures with this as well they were beautiful but the song is amazing, its so moving.

  • truly amasing

    i love this song

and i loved the time lapse with the stars and trees

and now i have to go and watch poxy eastenders

    truly amasing brilliant

  • Probably the most powerful song on the planet, this song takes raw an goes sumwhere else :P the editor of this video is a genious

  • if nature had a theme song, this would be it :)

  • does ne1 fink dis song sounds similar 2 overture by chicane ?

  • damn.over 6 mins i waited to find out this is not the version with the 'tinkly' bit at the end...

  • wow.Incredible video

One of my fave songs of all time.

Just gorgeous!! Makes you think deep inside.

    Incredible!!

  • Yeah, like most said, I first heard this in Heat and loved it, however I had only watched the movie on the movie channel I have and didn't remember the title by the time I wanted to look for it (Couldn't look at Heat's soundtrack as I had forgotten the movie title), later I heard it on the weather channel oddly enough and found the name via looking at the playlist for that month.

    Truly excellent song.

  • This song conveys emotion in a peaceful way (Unlike in an upbeat way like Alex M.O.R.P.H's Walk the Edge, which is a great emotional song), one on my favorite songs.

  • This song was great for the movie Heat at the ending it was really deep with Al Pacino and Robert De Niro.

  • I love this.

  • This video fucking calms me dooown

  • "Told ya I was never going back"...."Yeah.."

  • @ oldskoolmacboy

    thx a lot

  • :) 5/5 :)

  • The picture @ 4:00 min. I wish I would know were that place is. It´s lookin beautiful.

    Is it Scotland?!

  • Yes thats Scotland. It's very beautiful place.

  • Magnifique

    Comme d'habitude.

  • I can't help but nearly burst into tears when I see and listen to this quality. Justponder on past memories when listening, that's when it hits you. Magic

  • Brilliant work!

  • beautiful!!!

  • Stiring

  • Just for anyone that's interested. Much of this video was shot in Edinburgh, Scotland.

A beautiful song and a beautiful video.

I thought that Moby created this song thinking about a waterfall as you can make that assumption that it's water cascading down, much like Santoalalla's Iguazu.

    Great video oldskoolmacboy.

  • Thanks

  • We spend to much time wrapped up in our day to day lives that we don't take time to notice how beautiful our world is.

  • There's the truth right there...

    Nice vid btw.

  • this song is so moving and with the imagery you can't help but feel

  • Nice!!

  • Genius, the images depict the emotional sounds perfectly, utter eligance.

  • Fuckin Beautiful...

  • Where was this shot?

  • A lot of it was shot in Scotland and LA. Also Canada and London.

  • amazing song and vid. did you film it yourself aswell?

  • no I can't take the credit for the footage. All I did was edit.

  • simply stunning... THis should be the oringal music video for this song :)

  • 5 stars lol

  • epic

  • makes me so good

  • Beautiful!

  • What a great video! Song is just so powerful!

  • busy busy bees

  • ts Amazing how fast we move. everyone is any a hurry to go no where. We often miss how beautiful and peaceful the world is without out our day to day chaos mixed in. love the video make another.

  • good reflection. I agree

  • eye agree with Wooohooohooo, the cloud scenes in particular from about 3 minutes work amazingly well with the tune. the combination seems to fool your brain into thinking that the clouds are moving in slow motion, even though you KNOW that in actual fact the reverse is true.

    a musical masterpiece.

  • Thanks for the nice comments you have inspired me to make another video. Something mellow and dreamy.

  • this is seriously beautiful.

well done with the video (:

  • i cried. first heard this music from the movie Heat.

  • it does that to ppl !!!!

  • Very impressive.

  • dreamy

  • Yh its a brillaint video. First heard the song in the film Heat and just loved the tune.

  • Didn't they use this music in the film "Syriana" too?

  • GREAT !

  • perfect video for a perfect song 5/5

  • Wow... this is an awesome vid and an awesome song! good job on picking the best song for this! 5/5

  • I put this together in about an hour using I-Movie. I love this tune and I thought time lapse would fit in perfectly with the song.

  • yup this music is the best theme for any time lapse video goes perfectly especially with the clouds
